instant answer would be to leave them. however, in plenty of relationships, 2nd or 3rd chances are not rare. it is not as simple as leaving them or not. there are many things to consider before leaving; e.g. responsibilities, financial status, emotional issues..etc...sometimes it is easy and less hassle just to forget about it. but in the long term the other partner will always have doubts and this will also cause tension in the relationship. all i can say is, not all relationships are the same. one has to ask themselves if it is worth it to give them another chance or not.

How many relationships actually last after this though even when the partner does stay?

Better i will say it depends upon the tradition which we belongs to. B'coz in some places you are not allowed to even do that. In my opinion a self-study needs to be done before leaving. Just go into details & you may find yourself as one of the factor for his/her cheating. By leaving a partner is not solution to the problem.I belive in this way... If You can not solve a problem, then you are a part of the problem. If one can place himself directly on his/her partener's hearting cheating will be a nighmare in both the cases.. Any suggestions appreciated...

I would leave her immediately. I don't care what the reason may be. I believe in giving a second chance for everything but not in love, you are either in or you are out.
