Try different drink or just same as before?

My friend prefer to drink cocktail recently. I do not why, he often drink beer like me when we go to bar or restaurant. I like to choose different drink, when we sing songs we can drink whisky, in bar we ofen drink beer, in restaurant we choose wine. In some special days we can try some different drink, rum,champagne,brandy and so on. What would you like to drink? Can you drink more? Although i like drinking i can not drink more.
