Who are you celebrating Christmas with?

December 17, 2009 10:01am CST
I am hoping that non of you lotters will be on their own celebrating christmas as that would just be very lonely :(. Anyway I am looking forward to celebrating my christmas with the family in Germany and then just wait for the snow to fall to make it a perfect christmas. I might see some friends in the morning but in the afternoon, I will just stay at home eat the nice turkey and watch films. How about you?

il be celebrating christmas with my kids. unfortunately, my wife just got hired to work in singapore and was not allowed for that 1week vacation. that means, we will be celebrating a momless christmas. its our first time to celebrate it withour her. im already feeling lonely but good thing im the one watching our kids. i cant imagine her situation there being alone on christmas and new years eve because all of her boardmates are going home except her. actually some has already gone home. but weve already planned on chatting on ym on both christmas and new years eve. that will somehow forget the loneliness for a while.

I am so sorry to hear that. It would be hard on both of you. It sure is lonely to spend holidays away from your home and your family. At least you have your kids to cheer you up, but she must be very sad on her own. I wish you happy chatting :)

I always spend christmas with my family but recently, I only get to spend it with my immediate family and not the whole clan. i really miss being with my grandparents, cousins, etc during holidays. it's been so long since i've been with them during the season. I believe christmas is really a time for family. there are a lot of says in the year to be with other people so i guess it's just right to reserve christmas for family and loved ones. There's no one else i would rather be with than those people whom I love the most. :D

tree - a tree lighted up for the Christmas season
Hi, calai. Yes, Christmas is a happy event. This is especially so when the whole clan get together and celebrate it. It is time for reunions. It is a time when relatives we have never met get the time to say hello and get acquainted. It is a time for lots of food and a time for fun. It is a happy event and a good time to relive memories.

Well, On Christmas Eve I will celebrate with my family. I will spend the morning of Christmas home, too, but I have to go to work after that, so I will spend most of Christmas at work. however, I am glad that I get my day-off on 24th, because to me it was more imortant to spend Christmas Eve with my family.

I will be spending my Christmas with my parents in Massachusetts this year, as I normally do every year. This time it is a bit different for my son is on his own and doing well for himself, thank goodness for that. I only want the best for him, but then again, what mother would not want the best for their child. I will get to see him for Christmas this year and I am so excited about it. It has been a few months since I last saw him and it is rough for me. He is my only child and I had him at a young age to grow with him. We have a great mother / son and friend relationship. So this year I am spending Christmas with my son and my parents. We will probably pig out all day and watch the parade in the morning and our local football in the afternoon, and after all is said and done, we all go back to our daily lives. Wishing you a very happy and healthy holiday.

This Christmas, I will be celebrating Jesus birthday with my father and my brother's family. My mother is not sure if she will join us, because she went to province to visit her brothers and sisters and other relatives. I'm excited to see my cousin's first baby. And give gifts to my godchildren. We will spend our Christmas day in my auntie's house together with other relatives. God bless you and your family!

Just like the previous year, everyone will be gathering at our house for Christmas. There's going to be my parents, siblings and some family friends. But I think there will be some new edition this time around. The sister of my my little brother's girlfriend and her new baby are coming over too. She's a family friend and I think it's great because my parents haven't seen her baby yet. There's going to be a lot of food too. We can't seem to agree on what we all want to eat so we're having a bunch of different things. There'll be the ham of course, but we're probably going to be eating hot pot too (yummy!). Then we'll get around to opening the gifts later on in the day.

My whole family. For once in like ever. We haven't been together for Christmas since I was like 12. It's sad. I am really excited to share it with them this year though, and I hope there isn't any drama as there usually is when my whole family gets together. My Papa, mom, 3 sisters and two brothers and their significant others are all going to be there. Full house. It is going to be very interesting, and it's probably going to be spent getting intoxicated so we don't kill each other.

This year I will be spending Christmas in my new apartment, alone, without a Christmas tree. Sad. My roommates will both be with their families, and I just don't have the money to make it home. Plus I have to work the day before and the day after. Not so thrilling, but I'll manage. I'll probably end up with some people from my church actually. That would be nice. Merry Christmas!!
