American soap operas vs. Spanish telenovelas

Do you think Spanish telenovelas are more sexually aggressive than American soap operas???Or are they about the same???I have to say while some of the stuff shocks me on soap operas(as it's supposed to), some of the stuff on Spanish telenovelas is really really aggressive and shocking.Now, I know Luke's history on General Hospital,so then again I want to say that American soap operas are the same...yet, I still can't manage to really believe that.
