What will you do when you got a chance to a big company but the salary is few?

Hi, friends here, i got a headache for the choice. A hunter company contacted me and introduced me to a big and famous company, but after interview, the most they can offer for the salary is lower than my expection.The hunter company wants me to insist for a high salary cuz if my salary is high they can get more benefit. I know this is good chance for mey career path but the salary is so low. Which should i choose? Helen

That is a good question. I prefer to be in a small company with good salary. It is actually proud to work with a big company, but there are lots of advantages in a big company. You can learn more when you are in a small company. Also, the postion and the variety of work is there in small companies compared to big ones. There are lots of risk and issues like tests to get promotion or apprisal in big companies are not there in small companies.

But the experience of working in a big company is important for your career life. Each time, when you want to find a new job, people with big company experience are welcome.

It is always prestigious to work for a big company than a small one. If there are chances for a salary appraisal in the near future you can very well join the company. You need not have to struggle here like you have to in a small company. Moreover small companies will pressurise you for their benefit to win in the rat race inspite of their good salary.
