too much information...

There are just some people out there that don't have good boundaries...I think you all know what I'm talking about. It's those people at work, or some other professional setting, that just don't know what NOT to say- One of the people I used to work with just came in one day and said, "Man, I haven't gotten laid in so long." Everyone just kind of went quiet for a second and then looked away. It felt liked everyone was about to moan in disgust or say "Too much informatioooonnnn." There are just some things you don't want to know about, especially from the people you work with and don't know all that well. w

Yes, I work with someone like that and I find it rather annoying. I really don't want to hear about someone's issues, dramas, medical problems etc etc when the only thing we really have in common is our employer. And what makes it even worse is they don't even usually tell me about all that stuff directly, they just talk so loud I can't help but hear it clear across the room. They love to talk to anyone who will listen about the most personal stuff and I am just the opposite.

Yes, unfortunately I've run into more than a few of them.Ex-co-workers, ex-friends, all sorts of them. You think people would start to realize this is disgusting after a certain age (and even at some ages), but they just don't get it. It should be a sacred thing and it's sad it's not anymore.

I don't think its "not" a sacred things anymore, I think some people just can't distinguish what's special and what's not these days. :/

Yes, I have run into many people like this in my life time. I figure for the most part I'm on a need to know basis and some of the things I have heard I just don't need to know. People talk about how much in love they are with their boyfriend at work and on and on about stuff that just doesn't matter or is appropriate for the workplace. There was one gal who even told us everyman she ever slept with fell in love with her. I really didn't need to know that, however on the other hand could not help but run out of the room laughing my head off as it was the craziest thing I ever heard.

I think i'm one of those people lol I tend to say almost anything that comes into my head unless its something hurtful, mean, or something that's none of my biz. Everyone says I'm a very unedited person. I've never really slipped and said something wicked personal... its more of saying some really random stupid stuff sometimes.

Yes, it's very important to watch what you say, and who you say it to, and where you are saying it. Some people don't realize that, haha.
