Is there a religious significance of Boxing day?

Hi Just a question,Apart from the Boxing day Sales and the Boxing day test match what is teh religious significance of this Just curious!!!! Any views plaese share!!!!

It is traditionally a day to box up things for the needy. Nothing religious about it.
