Wisdom or Strength?

In this life, what would you rather have...? ...a mind that could think, remove stress and confusion and help in a prosperous life OR ...strength that could keep you going and help you in coming by where others are afraid to cross by Both of them are important to have in this life in order to fully succeed in life, but what if you could only have ONE? You choose.

I would much rather have wisdom, although the fact that I am pretty strong physically comes in handy sometimes as well. Being wiser about the things that really matter in life would certainly make life easier for me...

Point taken. But I believe that it is necessary for us to have both at hand. Wisdom is nothing if we don't have the strength to do it; strength is also nothing without something for us to fight for. Have nice day!

A brief answer, but it had made your point. Well, yeah... wisdom is strength; thus, strength is wisdom. Have a nice day.

..hi tricia.. if that happens, then I believe life will be no more because I believe we can't survive without the other.. considering that we need wisdom to discern the right things to do and we need wisdom for us to determine what steps we should take to survive with life.. and we need strength to continue with our lives.. for me, they are not just important in life.. they are a necessity that we couldn't live without the other.. because even if we have strength but we don't have wisdom, we will not be able to do anything.. and even if we have the wisdom if we don't have the strength, then our wisdom is useless because we can't do anything that we think of..

Nice answer. What you are saying is quite true. Wisdom would be nothing if we don't have the strength and courage to do what we have in our minds. Thus, strength is nothing too without wisdom that we have in our soul because without such knowledge, courage and strength would be left alone doing nothing. True - we can't survive without the other. Life shouldn't be comprised with wisdom or strength alone; but a combination of both. Thank you!

we need both wisdom and strength. wisdom is God gifftied....we all have it. wisdom means ability to think, plan, logic and reasoning. these qualities make us to be rational in life and wisdom makes us differnent and on on top of other species. strength is a skill that we develop to take actions and to do whatever we have to do in life. we think first and the we take actions and if we don't have strength to take an action, we will reach nowhere. so we need both the wisdom and strength.

You're completely true. One must not have just wisdom or strength alone - but a combination of both. If we have the wisdom, the knowledge to make an action, we would have the strength in our hearts to do such and succeed by our rational thinking. We cannot live by wisdom alone nor can we with strength alone. Life should be comprised with both in order for us to succeed in life. Thank you for your response.

I would rather choose wisdom instead of strenght because wisdom can play a wider role in our lives. When you are intelligent, you can make a big difference both in your own life or the lives of others. Using our Gods gift wisdom in a proper manner will certainly gives us a fulfilled life, it can never be taken back from us. Whereas a strenght when abused will have its ending, it will also fade as age will take its place.

Thank you for participating on the discussion. I see your point. But for me, life shouldn't just be comprised of wisdom or strength alone - but a combination of both. Wisdom would be nothing if we don't have the guts to do it for a sake; strength is also nothing without knowledge of what we should do and how we should act out to a certain situation. Still, I appreciate you being a non-conformist in this discussion. Have a nice day.

I'll go with wisdom. Strength has something to do with ages... As you go older, your strength will lessen but with wisdom, as you get older, the wiser you will become because of the experiences you had in life.

I get your point. But I believe that both is a necessity in our lives. Wisdom would be nothing if we don't have the guts to act it out; strength is also nothing when our minds are empty... without anything to fight for. Thank you for your response.
