I've personally never seen a ghost, but supposedly my friend has a ghost that lives with her, and he's a good spirit. My boyfriend also thinks he had an encounter with a spirit. He said that he heard someone saying "Help me..."...a full bodied chill came over him, but then a warm feeling overcame him, which gave him the feeling that she was a good spirit. He tried to hug me or pull me closer though and he couldn't move.

(I posted this in a thread a while back but since you asked, here you are)
My family has a lot of paranormal stories, for some reason weird things always seem to happen to us. My aunt and grandmother in particular, skeptics will balk at this, but my grandmother watched a black figure of a man throw my grandfather across the room in her house once. Several people in my family have seen him. o_O My aunt and uncle woke up to growling once and there was a figure of a black dog on the foot of their bed.
Myself, i tend to be sensitive to "orbs" in a sense. I remember one day at my friends house when i was still in high school i was seeing a great deal of them that day, i was thinking it was my imagination, but then my friend gasped and looked beside me. There was a 6 foot column of was looked like smoke or mist turning in on itself. I backed away from it and asked her what she saw, she explained exactly what i was looking at. When i got home later that evening i went to talk to my aunt about what i had been seeing since she had experience with these, i was feeling pretty creeped out. o_O As i was talking to her, the column of whatever it was appeared next to me again. It was about 18 inches to my left and it started to move towards me. My aunt started asking what was wrong, i had gone white and started breathing fast. I couldn't move, i tried, but my legs were locked or something. The thing moved towards me and went right through me. When it went through me my knees gave out and i hit the floor. I never have felt anything like that in my life.
I have oodles more, but i could go on forever on this subject lol..

hi,
yes, i have experienced it.once me and my husband went to langkawy island in malaysia.we stayed in one wonderful resort.there,each room will be seperated like house.surrounding area was like a forest.we where sleeping there.during night,we heared one strange voice of one lady.i was afraid a lot.that sound was very louder in our room.it seems like one lady shouting.we both afraid.we dint move from that place.i prayed god and slept.then next day we asked our taxi driver.she said that,on each thirsday ghost will round there in langkawi island.no one will come out on thirsday and if some come out on that day,they will be surely affected by ghost.we where shocked on that day.this is one of the adventures experience for ue.
