Yeah.. Christmas is coming and it is very difficult to avoid food during this season. You go to a lot of parties and can't resist invitation for food and drinks, and as we know, these things really are going to make you gain a couple of pounds after the season. How are you going to avoid gaining weight during Christmas?

That is a very good question. I'm currently doing the weight watchers program so I'm trying to lose weight. I'll be happy if I can get through Christmas without gaining too much lol. My plan is to just pace myself. I figure I will just taste a little bit of everything so I don't miss out on anything. I'll just take a small scoop of everything and try to fill up on veggies and liquid so I don't eat to much. And if I can fit some exercise in that will be good.

I love to eat, I love food. So for this season especially, I will eat what I want, but of course in moderation. Moderation is the key! I've been looking forward to x'mas every year, so restricting what I want to eat will make me really miserable... I will definitely cut down lots after the holiday season ;)

There is always the tendency to gain weight the moment Christmas season comes. This is simply because there are a lot of parties to attend to and of course foods that go along with it. Well, the bottom line is food intake. If ever you are invited on those parties and affairs, it would be wise to control and monitor what you put in your mouth.

I've been trying to lose weight for a while and I haven't had much luck and now with Christmas' it's going to stink even more with all the food and what not. I try to keep in a routine everyday of writing down what I'm eating, it's helped me from over eating and eating a lot of junk food, if I go to eat sometimes and I'm not hungry just eating out of being bored I'll think twice and think hmmm I'll have to write this down, it works for me. Of course, exercising is efficient as well.

Be conscious of the days that you over ate and over drink during parties. Then, don't eat much and avoid eating after 6 'o clock in the evening during days that you don't have parties to attend. This is really effective. Try also eating lots of oatmeals because of the fibers.

it's really hard to avoid getting fat during the holidays, but it's not impossible. you'll want to eat a little first before going to a party, that way, you won't be too hungry when you arrive and eat everything. you may also want to drink a glass of water before eating because sometimes hunger is confused with thirst. when you're finished eating and feel that you're still hungry and want to eat more, take some time to rest awhile. once digestion starts, you'll realize that you can do away with eating more. but if you really can't help it, you might just want to pig out and deal with the fat on the new year.
