Hi duaatheangel! I usually change my phone whenever I need to have something better or if it is broken. I don't usually go with the trend or buy the latest phone. It's just whenever I felt the need to changing my phone, I'll buy one. Happy mylotting!

Not often, only when required. As for example, I purchased this Sony Ericsson's W910i, it worked perfectly for exactly one year then it started giving me bugs.It will switch off on its own or gets hanged when I am listening to music, and I had to re-install software or update it everytime, now finally I got a new one very recently, just a simple Samsung phone, no special features!

I usually change phones every year, but not sure I will do that this time, as it is getting way to expensive for that. I just purchased my phone in August, so it will be awhile before I change phones again. I was reading what the one users said about their phone shutting off on its own. I have having problems with this phone doing the same thing. I lock it too, so I can't shut it off, but apparently, I didn't lock it like I thought. I will put it in my jacket pocket when I am walking the dogs, just in case my kids try to call me. If this phone keeps shutting istself off, then I will have to replace it, and I really don't want to have to do that, but I can't have it keep doing that, as my kids will try to call me, and the phone isn't even on, and I wouldn't know it. I am hoping that I don't have to change the phone that fast, as it isn't all that old and has lots of life in it Take care, and happy mylotting.

When I was a lot younger, I was very impulsive even when it comes to buying. I used to change phone every 8 months to one year. But now, I have become more careful with my expenses. I still have same cellphone for 3 years now.

When I first got a cell phone, I kept it for several years. But that was merely because, at that time, I didn't have the money to go out and buy a new one more frequently. Since then, I have been getting a new cell phone about every year or every other year. I most recently got a new phone, but that was because I switched cell phone service providers. The phone I had before this one, I bought about a year ago.
