how would you express your love to your partner

I expressed my love to my partner,by taking her to a garden,down on my knees and having a good eye contact and said"I LOVE YOU". the girl was a bit surprised,but replied "I LOVE YOU A LOT"
morale:one thing i learned from there,is that until and unless you express,no one knows about our feelings.(we were together for five years,but never know that we both loved each other)
so better be expressive

yes its always better be certain of others feelings in the matter of love.it can only be done if you express. i don't think one should ever hesitate to express one's fondness for other and keep speculating on things.good thing that you did..u must be happy to get your love of life.all the very best to both of you.

Thanks dear.I got my love,but still our family is in between.I am an indian and still arranged marriages are preffered over here.

But why were you on your knees?

I would express my love to my partner by having only one partner. And I would love them. Also giving them my love. I wouldn't let them take over.

Hi.. thats the sweetest thing to do. My bestfriend is always looking in my eyes and tell those words. I was expressive and to my surprise he was more expressive than me. If he told me I Love you.. My sweet response is that I Love you more and then we keep on laughing together and say hug..hug..hug...

Hi there, I am so happy for you. Your partner must be really blessed to have someone like you. You are definitely correct that it is better to be expressive than hide what is inside you and in the future... you'll regret that you haven't expressed what you have felt inside your heart and you wish that you could turn back time to tell what you've been hiding. This discussion is somewhat close in my heart, I have one regret in life that I have not expressed to someone my love until one day... he's gone... he passed away three years ago. Now, I always tried to express what I feel inside to the best that I can... that I would never had the same regret I have before.
