I am 8 months pregnant and I really got a sudden craving for Lumpia. I tried to Google it, but the way they made it sound was nasty. Anyone know some places or some recipes for this. I'm dying over here lol

Nevertheless I can give you a photo of my favorite lumpia for your to crave even more. I know this discussion is two years ago nevertheless if only for my love for lumpia I am herewith adding comment and a photo here!Ha!ha!ha!

Hi there bambi09, congratulations with the baby! Unlike most lumpia recipes, I don't put that much bean sprouts. Instead, i put lots of cubed sweet potatoes which make the lumpia so yummy!!! Try also the vietname version of lumpia. Filled with cilantro and prawns and with a sweet-sour-spicy dipping sauce, it's to die for!!!

easy lumpia - get eggroll wrappers (usually in the produce section. I use ground beef, cooked and drained in small peices. onion, carrot, ground up. cut wrappers in half, wrap filling, deep fry - yum!!!!

It is very easy to make you just need ground pork or chicken or tuna depends on you, potatoes, carrots or bean sprout. It is up to you which vegetables you have to put in your spring roll. Others put there lumpia only cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots and ground pork. I love also lumpia because I'm Filipino and my mother always make it when we have occasion at home. I'm not good in wrapping the spring roll wrapper so I let my mom do it for us.
