The Oldies are back

lotters,
you heard me right, the people who once dominated this site had slowly returned to participate again.i didn't wanna start making this topic but i see few familiar once starting to come back. and some that i haven't encountered yet are back too.
that way discussions are gonna get hot and interesting again but some are making topics that are just general and similar to others. but at least i have more options to whom i get to respond better. well, i get to be choosy now with topics, which is really something i didn't expect of myself.
i hope they stay longer. i know veterans who have always been here, i hope the stay for another long duration. have agreat day and merry christmas

I welcome the idea of the oldies coming back; for me, it is very much a fun way that the new and the old members are interacting. I have been looking for a specific oldie member and I hope she comes back. I don't have her personal email address though. Should have requested back then.

Thanks, Letran. Naw..just a very2x good friend. When I wasn't logged in the lot for quite some time, she private messaged me and of all friends, she remembered, and that was a very awesome and touching thing really. I wasn't active for 3-4 months, and there she was. She last logged in 4 weeks back or so, but so far, I didn't hear from her being active. I should try to pm her.

I’ve noticed some of the oldies contributing again too and, as much as I welcome the new members, it is great to see the old familiar avatars that have made this site so much fun. I feel as though I’ve been here forever! My husband keeps telling me that I am not paid enough to spend so much time here; he is not a MyLotter and doesn’t understand that the money is good but it is not what makes this site great! I hope the ‘oldies’ keep coming back and stopping a while...

hello paula,
you are one of those who had stick around here and there at mylot. to be honest almost my whole time is spent here but sicne it's christmas i try to spend less from here. well, i feel that am paid enough but not enough to pay the huge 300 dollars long overdue phone bill. i hope they retain being here and not leave again2 people like this

My siblings think that I am wasting my time in mylot when I should be participating in their conversations as we are all back for christmas in my mum's house. They don't see what I see in being a mylotter so I just let them mock me for being one. I think they or anyone who is not mylot citizen can't anticipate the real fun to be here.

zandi: My husband does the same thing! He doesn't get why I spend so much time here and he laughs at my earnings! He does not appreciate that the money is not what keeps me here and I'm afraid he never will!

I welcome these veterans back to the fold as they have once rocked this site with their interesting and quality discussions and had brought glory to mylot. Without their earlier support mylot could not have maintained this site till now. It is good news that they are showing up as it means we now have active oldies and newbies joining hands to form a united mylotters.

i agree with you there zandi, with out them mylot will never be this popular and known to other places accross the globe. probably they got really busy with the last few months and only came back when it is just christmas vacation. i hope newbies are going to learn and be open-minded to the oldies.

hi letranknight25 yes I noticed that too but several I wished
would come back are still missing but who knows? one disappeared
'under odd circumstances so none of us really know what happened to her. but I am pleased a lot of those who were here when I joined two years ago are now back. I thought you were here too for as long as I was, were you not? anyway I am back now and staying for as long as I can. I was out for almost a year due to some unfortunate things that happened to alter my whole life.

I am not familiar who's the oldies or veterans here in mylot,well,maybe it can be determined from the numbers beside their profile names.
Well...it's good to know that they are coming back to rock mylot again...(had they ever disappear for a long time?)
But in my opinion,oldies or newbies...it's fine with me.
It is good to know that there are newbies here in mylot...it means mylot is being appreciated by new members too.

Nope, it depends on how long they have stayed here longer in this site based on how long they are active and how long the profile's been here. i noticed it with the number of discussions that they had recently. mylot appreciate new members as you see them everyday. it's the oldies that you don't see much around.

what's with this oldie issue anyways, i just didn't know what else the oldies had done to mylot besides mylotting. there's nothing to celebrate about. besides be grateful to those who have stayed here long and guided the newbies. i don't about you but i hope you don't become bias in treating mylot users. i hope i didn't offend you in any way.

seems to me that you have other kind of leader to worship with. no, am not bias i consider every one as equal but of course, we should give at least a bit recognition so that they will come back again to do mylot. some of them have gone a while too. so, i hope you make friends with them some day.
