Have you been to any of your neighboring countries? Which is the furthest away destination that you have been to? I visited France when I was a child. I went to the Netherlands and Belgium when I was a teenager and in my twenties. The furthest I have been is New Zealand. I traveled there when I was 29 years old.

The most unusual trip was to the Galapagos. But I've been to Europe several times, a lot of places in the US, and a few places in Canada and Mexico and the Caribbean.

Hi. I am from the Philippines and I the neighboring countries I have visited are Thailand and Malaysia. The farthest I have visited is the United States (Los Angeles CA, New York and New Jersey). These are all work-related trips but of course, we did everything just to have spare time for leisure purposes.

My neighboring countries are Mexico and Canada. I've been to Mexico several times, but not Canada. A lot of Canadians on mylot seem to think that is odd. But I live in Oklahoma. If one looks at a map, then a person can see how far away Canada is from my residence!

The absolute furthermost point of the earth away from my home that I have visited is probably Loch Ness in Scotland. (No monster to be seen...lol) On my round the world journey in 97/98 that took in the USA, UK, France and China, I think that part of the world was probably furthest from my home in Australia. I have never been to New Zealand even though it is only a 3 hour flight from here and pretty cheap and easy to travel there. It is high on my list of overseas destinations as I would love to see the amazing scenery and go the Ski resorts in the South Island. I also have a lot of New Zealand friends as there are loads of Kiwis living over here.

Hi, maximax8! I haven't been to any of my neighboring countries, yet! But the furthest destination, where I have been to is Vietnam, but it was very long time ago. It was very interesting to me and very lovely. I also have been to Holland(once) and Germany (four times) and the both are very wonderful countries.

The furthest away destination that I've been to is USA (New York,Boston,Maine,Washington DC, Virginia, etc) 23 hours by flight from my place (manado-north Sulawesi, Indonesia). I visited Singapore, Malaysia & Philipine(Neighboring Countries). I visited Japan too. I like traveling and in my next trip I plan to visit some other places of interest in my country first before going abroad. My Country is the one of world tourism destinations (Bali, Lombok, Toraja, Jogyakarta, Jakarta, Manado, etc)

Canada is a neighbor country to me and I went there in 1989 when I was 37. I guess the furthist country I've been to would be Europe. That was in 1973 when I was 21. Oh yes, I have also been to Mexico but I just went to Juarez. I went there in 1964 when I was 12 and again in 1987 when I was 35. That's just across the border from El Paso, Texas. Mexico is a neighbor contry to me, too. Kathy.
