This is probably a really, really insane question, but do you have any songs, singers, or music groups that you hate so much that either hearing them or seeing them literally leaves a bad taste in your mouth? I have a few.
1.)Eric Clapton/every one of his songs
2.)Steely Dan/every one of their songs
3.)Stevie Ray Vaughn/every last one of his songs
4.)The new school Bon Jovi music--if I wanted to listen to country music, I'd turn the radio dial to a country station
5.)Blues music in general

I absolutely cannot stand Bruce Springstein, I mean I actually H A T E him.
But to make my skin crawl, anything by Neil Young *(NOT Crosby Stills & Nash tho)...I can listen to my kids whine and cry but I can't stand when a grown man does it for a living. Mariah Carry is one long screech, I have owls out back here that do it 10X better than she does.

I like some of Springsteen's songs, but Neil Young is a different story entirely. He's horrible! Mariah Carey is another one that I agree with you on. She annoys me because she always insists on scream-screeching her way through songs. My thought is, "So you have a high vocal range! So what! It doesn't mean I want to hear it every two minutes!"

The music these days is so manufactured and so unoriginal, it isn't funny. It's not about the enjoyment of making music now; it's all about making money and winning gazillions of awards.
