Hi sarah ruth beth: well i don't swear actually. But sometimes these words come naturally and in those cases i said inmediatly I'm sorry no matter if i am talking to a boy or a girl except if the other person is the kind of person that need to use a bad word in every sentence they make. Thanks for asking us this question. Hope you are having a nice day.

Swear words are about a third of my vocabulary. I find it nice when a guy apologizes for swearing but I quickly tell him I swear like a sailor so don't feel bad.

Hi sarahruthbeth22,
I tend not to swear in front of people I do not know well. My close female friends know me well and they do not mind my language, sometimes they are worse than me lol. If I did have a swearing outburst and it did offend a female friend or someone who I did not know, of course I would apologize as it is only polite.

Hi the zone: neither do i. I don't judge people that swear but i consider it a repulsive habit and that people should make their best to not say these words. I think you have a good attitude and as you do, i don't think there is nothing wrong on apologysing if you know you did something wrong. Thanks for your answer. Hope you are having a nice day.

My husband likes to say that he swears like a sailor because he was a sailor. haha
We don't believe in courtesy based on gender, rather courtesy based on one person for another. He doesn't treat me a certain way because I'm female, I don't treat him a certain way because he's male, and this applies to everyone else around us.
I'd actually feel a little miffed if someone apologized for swearing infront of me BECAUSE I'm female. Hell, I'd take it as a challenge, and try and out-curse them (in many many languages). LOL I don't want to be treated like a "lady" because for me that implies "difference."
If I get to the door first, I'll open it, likewise if a guy gets there first he'll open it (for example) but if a guy jumps infront of me to open the door because he thinks I'm a "lady" that'll pi$$ me right off, likewise if he aplogizes for swearing infront of me because I'm female, or if my husband were to ask my father's permission before we got married. I'm so glad he didn't! LOL

I am your opposite yet again. I find it thrilling when a guy rushes to open a door for me or lets me board the bus in front of him or gives up his seat for me.and if he swears in front of me and then aplogizes I Always tell him "Don't worry.I swear like a sailor!"
