Guns in Restaurants: Good or Bad Idea?

United States

Here in Tennessee our lawmakers have been trying to pass a law allowing guns in bars and restaurants that serve alcohol. Making it easier and easier for handgun owners to carry guns in public places, in this state. I feel if this law finally passes it will be a big mistake. Mixing alcohol and guns, will cause more harm than good. How would you feel if your state considered allowing guns into your bars or restaurants? Would you feel uncomfortable eating in a place that had customers who were carrying guns and drinking alcohol? Would you continue visiting these restaurants, which allowed guns inside? Would you carry a gun into a restaurant, if your state allowed it?

please tell me this is a joke....i have never heard of anything like this...but if this is real its a terrible idea. I honestly can't imagine how anyone would think its a good idea to pass a law like that.

Does this just include the customers on the premises,or can the wait staff and Chefs Join in too? I'd think twice about complaining about the steak being tough if the Waitress was "packing"...
