Viruses roam the Internet, randomly infecting you and some are super hard to get rid of. Did you ever have to reformat, or reset your computer just to get rid of one? What kind? Did you try to remove it with a Anti-Virus program?

Many, many time already. I had a habit of backing-up my files and burn them to DVD. So every time, I had problem with my hard disk, I often result to formatting. That way I can have a fresh, no bug program.

Smart, but burning it into a DVD takes too long. Why not use a flash drive?

yeah, i have just reformatted my computer. there are only 2 reasons for me to format my computer:- 1) hard drive crashed 2) system files corrupted for virus or spyware problems, i usually are able to get rid of them through the help of the true experts in those virus/spyware forums.

For me I reformat my laptop often. It is to make sure my laptop still working fast. Some files cannot be erased in systems that is why maintaining is not enough for me. I am most aware of viruses so there are no attacks on my laptop :D
