Browser speed ratings

What do you think the fastest browser is?? i've used the followin browsers n here are deir ratings in terms of speed.. 1. Chrome 2. IE8 3. Firefox wats ur ratings? n wat r da ratings of opera and safari compared to da above 3 ?

i think fire fox is the fastest browser. and also speed depends on the internet connection also.

Firefox for me. I really see little (barely measurable) difference between IE8 and Chrome.

I use firefox and IE8. In tearms of speed they do about the same. as far as I'm concerned. However a majority of the sites I view are text-based in nature. And if you view a site with very little flash, then your computer won't slow down as much. Same applies for gaming sites because those require a lot of plug-ins to operate properly and tend to eat up brodband. So yeah. I also keep my browsers clean and clear the cashe regurally. So I guess that's why.
