Every day we cant get a phrase "Dont MESS WITH TEXAS", DONT LITTER, and ETC. Then you also know that latest story we have been getting global warming. They been saying the waste that we buried in the land can effect the earth easily. So many news on how we affect the earth, and news about how mother nature taking over and we can't stop it either. You can only make the best of it and do some new changes to help the earth be clean, it better then nothing. On the other hand we all have a family that we love so dearly and want to be with them, but then they can get out of hand that make matter worse if you see them. So we continued to pray for them all the time. We all want to be together but it not going to happen because of history but yet we make new changes and they cant adapt to it. The one thing I learn, is that no matter how bad the economy is you can make the best of it. Just as you can make the best of it with your family with food and laugther even if it not traditional without present under the Christmas tree. The christmas tree remind me of all the love I ever recieve from the family I adore that is my parents. When I light up the tree is remind me of how they make me glow and bright and make it so wonderful that it soften and heal my heart. We may not be able to fix all the wrong things on this world but make the best of it as we do when we are with are love ones.

People need to start realizing that love and happiness are the only presents worth giving and receiving to their full extent. Life is about enjoying it and not focusing on all the difficulties that lie at our feet.

I agree with "Think globally. Act locally." We can each do our part. Thanks for this lovely post. I prefer live trees. They are farmed for this purpose. Economically, we can support this as a business venture. Young trees are good for the environment as they have a faster rate of exchange from CO2 to O2. So to me, the more the merrier (ho ho ho!) It's all well and good that folks would use an artificial, but who really uses them for very long before they toss them out and they end up in a landfill. I try to do my part as we gather together. When I'm gone, I hope that nothing I left behind will cause harm to my children.

I use an artifical tree myself havent had a real tree for several years. I think it is going to be somthing that I like doing still as real trees are cool, but they are a lot of work. I see why you like real trees though.

when i was a little child, its really important for us to be together during Christmas, but as i grew older it seemed like it did not matter anymore, any day we can get together whenever we like not just on Christmas day, and before we dont have any christmas tree, and no presents... we just have food on the table i was only able to have a christmas tree when i had my own family, an di put presents under it, it wasnt a real tree we dont have that here, what we have are those plastic look alike ones.. it was good for a while. this year i did not bother to put up a christmas tree, but i have presents for my kids already wrapped, my christmas tree i threw it away last after the new year. i was getting tired of fixing it up and cleaning it again after the holidays, and my kids really are not into it... lol.. so why bother. the spirit of christmas is still here without it. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU DEAR FRIEND...
