Well, I have a few.. over the years we have met quite a few singers/musicians at concerts.. and a few actors...
I have picture of me when I was very young with Michael Landon.
and around the same time we met Buck Owens and the buckaroos- From HeeHaw (that was back in the 70's) my mother gave them aspirin- cause they were hung over.. lol
We met A few of the members of ShaNaNa. lol Everyone is going who?
I have met Gunnar and Matt Nelson quite a few times.. got a bunch of pics.
Ed Roland and Joel Kosche- from Collective Soul. Air Supply's Graham and Russell.
And my good friend's brother is Dylan McDermott I met him when her kids were getting Christened. So I like to think of it as only a degree away from Robert Downey Jr.. -who I wish I had met.. lol
My girlfriend also met lots while she was living with her brother in LA and working at a producers office.. I love hearing her stories... she got to meet Christian Slater at his house, Jeff Bridges and Lou Diamond Philips while she was working..
And our crush when we were teenagers.. Shaun Cassidy... They are all funny stories. I wish I was there.

You are welcome.. yes, Bowzer was one of the ones I met..
and Dylan was Mark before becoming Dylan.. It's funny because on her facebook page her old friends all still ask her how Mark is? LOL
Kind of hard for them to switch names- although she does call him Dylan now..
He's going through a bad breakup with his wife now.. It's sad. I feel bad for the children. (don't know how she could have cheated on him though..)

...Hi minx267, Well! You have not only met some famous people, you have been in the company of the rich and famous. I love Dylan McDermott, I think I read a story about him where his stepmom lost a child she was going to name Dylan or the child was named Dylan and he took the name in order to cary it on. I thought that was a great thing to do. I recognize some of the others, loved Air Supply's All Out of Love, if I am correct. Shanana's leader, Bowzer, am I right, is one of the smartest show people I know. I know of the Nelsons. You have been in the midst of giants, along with your girlfriend, Christian Slater is a good actor as are Bridges, I have watched Jagged Edge many times, an Lou Diamond Phillips. Thanks for such for an informative comment.
Take it easy.

...Hi again minx, I am so sorry to hear that, He seems very nice, loved him on the Practice.....It's hard to fathom why people do what they do in marriages. The Tiger Woods story is baffling the heck out of me, but the answer lies with that person. Tiger's mom is quoted as saying she is, I think, surprised, hurt and very disapointed in him. You always feel sorry for the children. Got an alert, you may have read as well, double for postings here on 12/22. So post away tomorrow. Take care. Happy holidays.

Here in the Philippines, I have already met several presidents and had made a hand shake with them. First one the list is Cory Aquino way back 1985 when she's campaigning for the presidency against Marcos. Then there Fidel Ramos, on a mall with all his body guards. Then Joseph Estrada at our school alumni homecoming. His the guest on that occasion. And lastly, Gloria Arroyo when she visited our plant. Thats four famous Philippine president I have been shake hands.

...Hi EnslinPorter, How nice of you to let me know the name of the lady President with the shoe collection. It is interesting that the Phillipino people have no problem electing women to the office of president, that seems like a good thing. The United States has yet to cross that hurdle, but I think that we are getting very close to making history again soon. Thanks again.

...Hi Fulltank, First of all, did you read the alert that there will be double paynents for our postings today, the 22nd? Pass it on. Well, you may be pulled in to run for office or something there. {:o) That is quite a lot of Presidents to just accidentally run into. Was it Aquino who had all the shoes or am I thinking of or someone else? Thanks for your comment.

...Hi there sirnose, I love your name :o). Well now the Rev. Jesse Jackson is certainly a very famous person. He tries to do good things for people as he goes along. If you live in New Orleans, I hope the city is getting back to normal or at least better than it has been in the past from the storm. That was devasating to see. Hope you and your family are getting the help you need if you need it. Take good care. Thanks for your reponse.

....Hi apgh09, Tht must have been an interesting day for you. Were you able to get his authograph? I know some famous people do not like to give their authographs. When the tennis player Arthur Ashe was alive, signing pictures of himself, I made the mistake of asking for an extra one for one of my girlfriends, he gave me a terrible look and seemed as though he might not have given it to me, but then he signed it and I went on my way. Thanks for your response. Take care.

hi, he was really nice and he was with his wife they were doing some heavy grocery shopping so i did not want to bother them with a autograph. i went over to say hi but i'm not really into autographs, just the fact that they spoke and was nice was cool enough for me.

..Hi apgh09, That works for me. When I have seen famous people, it is very exciting. I don't know if you remember him, but Richard Harris was at a hotel in Texas where we were holding a class for new examiners. He was in Camelot across the street at a theater. He and two of his assistants got on the elevator with me, and I did not recognize him. He was not happy, so the next thing I knew he broke out in song "the hills are alive...", which made me knowe who he was. I had just seen him in the play, but I declare I did not recognize him. I started to act stupid, and gave him a postcard that I had just purchased and he signed it for me.
I was serenaded by Richard Harris, unbelievable. He was more distracted than I was, he started to get off at the wrong floor. Take good care.

...Hi nautilus33, Well I would think that would certainly count as a famous person. I was at a breakfast once and met the Governor of New jersey, our state, up close and person, as he came over to our table. I think he came over because one of my friends who is a very attractive blond was sitting there. That's my theory anyway. I also met a U. S. Representative, Rob Andrews at a luncheon. He is a very cordial person. Thanks for your reply. Take it easy.

I've never met anyone super famous. I have met a couple people from bands- I'm mutual friends with Teppei, the guitarist from Thrice. I also got to meet the band Sum 41 as well as Andrew WK at a Warped Tour a couple years ago. And a couple months ago I ran into members from my favorite band (BMTH) when they came on tour to my city. :)
