So this is one of those questions that is very controversial. I think it tells a lot about a person how they feel about this subject. So when is it okay. When a girl gets pregnant at a young age or raped, is it okay? What about when the mothers health will be in danger. What are your views?

for me its always ok. its not something that need justification. it's always the womans body and if she don't want it there then taking it out is right.

no. it's a possible life against an actual life. i don't see it as anything other than the sensible thing to do if i get pregnant. its not something i haveto think about. for me abortion will always be the right choice.

Yes it is the womans body but once you get pregnant that is another human being also. I feel differently about abortion today then I did 10 years ago. I think it should not be done unless good reasons.

For me, abortion would never be an issue. I would carry a baby to term if I was raped and ended up pregnant as a result of it and if it would put my life in jeopardy, I still wouldn't have an abortion. However, that view is just for myself. I think that for some people it is admissible to have an abortion if they know that the baby has significant genetic abnormalities and I also think that a person should be allowed to have an abortion if they have been raped. I just don't think I could ever go through it myself.

That is understandable. Having two children now I could never do it again. Now that I am older I guess. My mom sort of helped out the first time. She wasn't ready to be a grandma. I would never tell anyone to do it. I would try to find other ways but for some people it is the only good choice.

If the mother's life is in danger then an abortion might be worth having. If not the mother and the baby will both die. Therefore it would be wise to save the mother if she requests that. I feel very sorry for any lady that conceives during rape. Her baby is innocent and could be adopted if she could do that. If she has an abortion that would be understandable but sad. Personally I would not ever have an abortion because I am pro-life. I think babies in the womb are innocent. I was offered an abortion when I was 36 weeks pregnant with my son that has spina bifida and hydrocephalus. I said no way. He is now a happy little two and a half year old boy. I looked into why ladies have abortions in my home country. 98% of ladies did it for social or economical reasons. Just 2% of ladies had an abortion to save their life or because the baby would be severely disabled. So I think all abortions are wrong unless the mother's life is in danger.

It is lovely that you are with your high school sweetheart. It is wonderful that you have two little girls. I have a baby girl, a toddler son and a teenage son. Your mom didn't discuss important matters with you when you are a preteen. It was such a shame that you got pregnant and aborted your baby. Of course you will always wonder about him or her. Best wishes to you. I am pro-life for myself and I respect other's opinions. Happy Christmas.

I think abortion is universial in China. In one hospical, you will find that the mount of women who is about to do a abortion is much more than ones who are willing to have a baby. When a doctor find someone is pregnant, he will ask a question"Will you keep the baby or not?" That is ruthlessly, but true.

I had no idea. That is very sad. Like I said I am opened on the subject. But that is crazy that more are aborting then keeping. How is the birth control done there, it is highly used? And what is the latest time they can abort the fetus even though I know the answer may make me cry. These are my questions for you.

I know that england has a far less "problem".. //"trend"..//"tendency" to have slightly more radical groups.. Normally religious.. That have a great opposition to abortion. In my circle of friends, and most people I meet, the views are that no one has the right to judge or decide unless they are the one in the situation. If someone can bare to carry out the action, then its fairly obvious they should not have a child. That is a view that I at least hold.. Although it should be known that I have a fairly objectionably view towards adoption. Only on the level that someone can have a child just to give it away.. I think adoption should be there for other occasions.

Yes I think it is funny that people always say adoption instead of abortion period. They don't care about the person situation. Even in a rape situation. You would still be reminded about that rape for 9 months of carrying that child and then to have to give it up at the end and know that child the product of something so evil is still there somewhere. One of my childhood friends, her mom was raped and that is how she came into the world. Her mother was a lesbian, so that is the only way that my friend would of came into the world. I don't know how her mom did it emotionally.
