Has anyone seen The Antichrist (2009) with Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg?
I decided to watch this film, because of many recommendations, but it was awful - yes, the film has great quality and I could say it is excellent artwork, but the idea of film...10 minutes before the end I turned it out ...I couldn't coup with pressure...my consciousness couldn't handle with seen.
Could somebody tell what happened in the end of film? (I hope that read it would be easer then watch).

I did not like this movie one bit. Yes it was graphic just the shock factor but had little else to redeem itself. Some say it is a study of mental illness, I fail to see how. The symbolism in the movie meant nothing, it is just an arty and very pretentious movie in my opinion. It divided critics, well at least half of them got it right. An Adam and Eve story!
The end of the movie has Dafoe eating berries from the forest shot in black and white. Take whatever meaning you want from it.

I suppose that the story was about sick women - so deep sickness that anyone couldn't imagine. She herself didn't realized her mental illness until it grab her completely, and then she easily yield it. It could be possible that sickness like this can grab anyone of us....In this way I understand this story.

He kills her.
This one probably the most boring movie I've ever seen. 1 minute felt like eternity and I watched it till the end just because I've made a challenge out of it. There are some scenes where you're literally watching character just walking from the one side of screen to the right and it lasts minutes and nothing's happening. Now I can proudly announce that I sat through the most boring movie ever made.
