Should I give her this gift?

My daughter has opened up all her gifts. taken them and worn them as well. Now she was given a gift tonight. I want her to wait to open it. She is begging me for this darn gift. Should I give this darn thing to her? Thanks so much

How old is she?? If its a gift from you, then I would think she should only have it when you want to give it to her. Depending on how old she is, I'd feel inclined to take the gift back to the shop and exchange it for something for myself!!

she is 15 years old. the gift came from her therapist.

I guess you're getting the "Its mine and I'll open it when I want" - which I suppose is a fair point. I'd just be sure to hide anything I'd bought her until Christmas. Good luck.

Why not?It is all her's and let her enjoy all the gifts.Why should you restrict her opening that particular gift?Kids can't be patient and they want to explore all the new things immediately.Delaying the suspense may lead her to ignore the gift at all.So,allow her to see what it is without delaying further.
