Today is winter solstice the coldest day during the year.

Today is December 22 when the sun is at its southernmost point.And it's the coldest day for us in north of the Earth.We usually eat dumpling with our friends on this day.

It is cold here. We have a custom and that is when it is sunny and warm in the winter solstice, then it will be rainy and cold in the Chinese New Year. I prefer to have the cold and rainy day today:) Winter solstice is an important day for us. We will have a nice dinner tonight.

The Winter Solstice is the shortest day if the year, but not necessarily the coldest. I live in Wisconsin and January is the coldest month of the year, not December. Since most people here celebrate Christmas, there aren't many Solstice celebrations. Enjoy your celebration!

There's no winter here in my country..we just have dry and rainy season since we're tropis country
