Hi there everyone, How many of you truly believe in God?Are an atheist or a real believer? Some people just believe in God in order to conform to society and some are believers because they are afraid of the unknown.Very few are genuine believers. I,for one,am a complete atheist. But i still respect religion and people who believe in God.I am not disrespectful to those who believe in the existence of God. I would like to know your opinion on this.

I do believe in God. I was born with this belief, but the idea and concept of God has been changing with time. Earlier, I used to believe God has a form, and He is someone exterior, somewhere up in some heaven controlling us. But this idea kept on changing with time and realization. In fact, I do realize there is no "God". But there is God. You won't understand I guess. God is there, but the God which the common man thinks doesn't exist. It's only a concept or a belief. God is nothing but infinite Consciousness, the infinite life energy that springs forth as a creation, and universal consciousness. He is everywhere, he is in all of us.... in all beings in all of creation in every atom and molecule. So, I believe there is God, and He is everywhere. We can't limit him to one figure and say, this is God. But yes, he is the manifest and the unmanifest. He exists in the finite form, but is infinite. Every single subtle energy in this universe speaks, feels, and moves and grows, and acts in mysterious ways. If we connect to this energy, we know that's pure in nature, and it's filled with love. That love is God. :-) There is God, but, in all beings as consciousness. The universal consciousness is God.

Hi jitendrakbharai. I have an atheist friend like you in my city--respectful of other peoples' beliefs. Would you believe I used to hate God? Kind of a long story there. About the word belief, the Holy Bible indicates the type of belief needed to be in fellowship with God is one of commitment. So one can believe in God, Christ, and really not get anywhere unless they commit. I'm 57 and I committed to Christ at 17, Haven't been the same since. So, why are you an atheist? My friend in the city here is one because he says he just can't see God or there is no way (to him) to prove He exists. He "accepted" Christ though when younger but slipped away since God did not seem present and real to him. Btw, imo, some of you atheists are nicer and have better morals than some "religious folk."

That's right Pastor--a great many atheists have wonderful morals and are generally law abiding as well. jitendra

Of course I believe in God who has created all of the things around us. He is the main reason why we are still living and breathing. All that we are enjoying now are because we have a God that loves us so much.
