Do you wear off your shoes when you goes in carpet room?

My mom is very strict in this case, She always like clean house, she is over cautious for dirt, and like something. we are not allowed to sit on carpet with shows.

Sometimes i can forget it, not on purpose, i can not remind myself every time. It is ok for me , no one blame me, i know i should not sit on carpet with shoes, if i take something back i can forget it, it is normal for me.

We also take off our shoes at home.. In our culture mostly houses are covered with carpets so we prefer not to step on them with the shoes we wear outside. I personally find it wrong as well; this kind of attitude is both frustrating and not hygienic.

Yes, no shoes indoors for me too. It's not because of having difficulty in cleaning carpets. It's something like keeping inside clean, far from the hidden dirts or viruses or microscobic elements that may have been sticked to our shoes when we are outside. Streets are not clean as they seem.

I always take my shoes off when I enter someone's house. Of course, I don't even where shoes indoors in my own house, so I suppose that's no big deal. So, no shoes on the carpet for me or even indoors.

We currently live in rent apartment, so no this strict rules. We switched to slipper when back home and then walk around every corner of the home. You can walk on the floor by your own shoes also, cause the floor is not that clean lol

if it's my own house then i will. I wouldn't also if i am just a visitor. Carpets are just hard to wash. But if it's an office i wouldn't. I bet everybody would not unless they want to look weird.
