Christmas is just in 3 days around us. Do you have a Christmas wish list this year? Every year I don't have any special Christmas celebration because I am not a Christian. I somehow had know about Santa Claus story. People likes to get a Christmas hat to prepare to get Christmas presents from Santa. Have you got your 'Santa' and grant you the presents or wish you want? Just to share here what you think about Christmas wish list? Have you wish for anything from Santa this year?

Christmas for us is mostly a family day. We have a big dinner together, exchange small gifts then usually go feed area wildlife. There are several lakes where geese and ducks overwinter here. We go statter food often, but make a point of it at Christmas. That's when most people are too busy with their family and friends to do it, and we don't like to think of them being hungry while our stomachs are full. Some years we work at the holiday meal that our community hosts for homeless and underpriviledged people, but this year they actually had more volunteers than they needed.

Family gatherings are so important and so much of the meaning of the season revolves around them. Growing up my family had huge get togethers. The day was both hectic and fun. Even the clean up wasn't bad because so many people helped. Now it's just my husband and our children, so it's a much smaller day. I find myself wishing for one more holiday with all the family members who aren't here anymore. The memories are so nice, I try to imagine that they are here, at least in spirit. I hope you have a wonderful day, and that it leaves you with terrific memories.

I just wish to see some family and friends. Ever since I got on Facebook I have found family that I haven't talked to in years. I'm going to see them over the holidays.

The decorations and gifts are just symbolic of the real meaning of Christmas which is to love and care for our fellow human beings and animal friends and to take care of the bounty that is ours and share it with those less fortunate. I think these sentiments are universal and shared by almost all people whether they are Christian or not. Certainly many non-Christian families celebrate Christmas, and in the years BC the day we observe as Christmas now was celebrated by those the Christians now call Pagans. The name was changed but many of the customs are the same. So my Christmas wish is for the betterment of "ManKind" including more respect for women here in the US and around the world and I wish that everyone will show kindness to children and teach them that there are more important gifts in life than toys, such a wisdom, good health, love, and temperance. Blessings to you and your family in this holiday season and for a happy new year in the months to come, as I believe your new year starts in February, this coming Year of the Tiger, expected to be a year of courage and generosity.

In the past I have, but this year money has been so tight that I have not asked for much. The one thing I had really wanted was a new back porch and a Nintendo Wii, but I have not gotten either one. I am hoping that by next year Christmas will be better. I am looking into working from home and making some extra money so I can help make ends meet.
