How useful are your online friends to you?

I have met one of my best friends through the net. They have been extremely helpful to me and very nice. I also met a very spiritual friend once, and we learned a lot from each other's experience. Karma plays in mysterious ways and brings unforeseen soul connections at times. All my online friends that I've met, among a few of them I have had unforgettable moments. I will never forget them even if they are not in touch with me at this moment. Yes, all those special ones who made a difference in my life for a short period, will always be remembered. It's all law of Karma working over our heads. The wheel is rolling... Ha ha ha..!

Of course. I too agree. Actually online friends are my best friends whom I like most. By chatting with them I get solace to my wounded soul, heavy heart and some times I will be broken to pieces due to various reasons and completely shattered and about to take extreme steps in which time my online friends only console me and make me cheerful and pep me up and make me happy and joyful ever before

Truly speaking, with online friends we can express ourselves better and can pour our hearts out because, firstly there is no real personal touch. Secondly when they give you an honest opinion, it is without fear or favour. No doubt, I have Vijayanth's photo in front of me, but he is virtual and therefore poses no threat to me or others close to me....HEHEHE!!!! No offense friend, Vijayanth. Just joking yah!!!!!

Hello vijayanths its good to know that you started believing in our online friends, well am believing it from my staring on net.Though made friends quiet a bit late but still good ones.Many a tiems rec some invitations from them, on earning sites which have paid them.And me too got paid from both the sites that were refered by mine friends.Even use to chat with them often when bored or nothing to do online.They do help us in some manner an we too try to solve their pro, through sharing of knowledge.Well me too think that if we get that much bonding in real life could get us to the peak point we have wished for.Anyways enjoy our online friendship, Happy mylotting.

I have online friends here on mylot who are useful and I enjoy discussing with them different topics. But I'm also quite choosy since there are some people who are just making fun of you and since this is the internet, and you cannot see them face to face unless there is a webcam, but still they can hide their identity unless again you have already got along well with them. So I'm also careful.

I would say that my online friends have been very helpful and kind to me from the first day I met them,of course all of the are girls :P.I think it applies to mylot as well,I don't have much friends here but whoever I had talked with have been nice to me and same from my side as well :).My online friends have helped me in many ways as in whenever I had some problems or was down they always encouraged me with their talks.I have met many of them though some of them are from different states so I couldn't meet them.The friends who are from Mumbai as me,we do always catch up at weekends for a movie or a party or just a get together and have lots of fun.In short they have become my extended family along with my offline friends :).Many of the users might have had bad experiences online as well but thankfully I have never witnessed such things :) and all my friends are really great.They all rock and I pray they succeed in whatever they do :).Have a good day,nice discussion!!

My online friends are useful when it comes to advices. It is very useful if you post your problems here in Mylot because many will symphatize on your struggle becasue there are many who experience such problems in life. Their words makes you strong and inspired. that is the use of our online friends. On the other hand, I want to be a useful person on line that is why I am trying to give a hand to those in need. I want to be a useful person eversince. Eventhough I am not perfect and I am sometimes lazy, I want people to remember me as the one who had helped them once they were in need.

yes..i have same friendship online..like i do have offline..with online friends also i fight..i get angry..i get irritated..and again i get sweet and nice with them...actually i think online friends are more friendly and frank than offline friends...as offline you see them in front of you..so you hesitate saying or sharing some things..this is not the case with online friends..

you never know who you may become friends with online, people in the right places can help a lot. especially if their in the same country, i've got mainly male friends i chat to online. sorry but i find men easier to chat to. a few of them i may never meet but we have a good chat, bout anything and everything. just talking to some one can help, as many of us find it easier to type than if we were sitting in front of the person.

Hi v. Online friends are very useful to me. In fact they are there for me when I can't seem to get a hold of my real friends. They are very caring and loving. I appreciate online friends because they are very reliable when it comes to them assisting me in any problems that I may have. They give great advice and they can relate to me on many terms.

No use for being online without your friends. A permanent fixture online as in life.

I'm not really at a point as of right now where I can really call anyone I"ve met online a "true friend", but my fellow MyLotters seem to have.. all the answers. The re-assurances. Everything. Part of the reason I love MyLot!

i find that it could not analyse the useful online friends to me.at least i could not meet this people exist.in the false internet,i could not analyse what it is true and not and think that my online friends are useful for me.

I like to associate the words "friendly, warm and understanding" for any of my friends Vijayanths and not use the term "useful".It makes it less valuable and slightly need based. Friendship is s something that normally has less expectations compared to relationships and relatives. THat is why I prefer friends to relatives any day.Relatives also set normative standards for us to behave while friends do not do this.There is a very respectful distance as well as camraderie in friendship.My my lot friends are as good as some of my real friends. In fact I share more thoughts in this forum than in real world.

Friends are friends whether on line or off line, I mean in real life. The same concern will be there for them too. I always try to help my online friends in my capacity and I got help too from them. More than anything, the beauty of online friendship is this, without seeing each other and without interacting in person with each other, they maintain the same level of friendship with each other.

Online friend feel like imaginary... while we didn't see him or her physically until we don't believe on it... it mostly happened with boy.. but what the thinking of girls i don't know.... I also don't believe in online friends.. but for long time re;relationship.. i agree with him upon various point.. some trustfulness to the same..

I completely agree! I have met some wonderful people online who I've never met in person and probably never will meet in person, but nonetheless, they have become really good friends. Like you, I was skeptical at first when I would read or hear about people becoming really close online. I couldn't have been more wrong though! I've come to know some great people and am thankful to sites like mylot that allow me to meet and talk to lots of different people.

my online friends are very very useful! like when i can't get of hold of my parents i get a hold of a online friend of mine to help me with a problem. For example one time my computer got a virus my mom knows nothing about computer. I told mylot that i need help to find a safe virus away software they all responded so quickly when i had problems downloading it i asked for help they helped me again. Really sweet i was like wow no virus to reformat the computer would be too much. Money and time but they helped me so nicely and asking nothing in return i'm just happy theres still nice people around the world like this. I'm very appreciative.

I've never spent to much time considering the usefulness of my online friends, but upon reflection I can certainly see how they can have an important impact on my life. In fact because of their removal from your "real life" it may be easier to confide in them and talk about difficult situations. And as someone who met my husband online, I guess that it proves that you can find the beginnings of love online.
