Have you brought shoes on line. I get ads that show shoes at a very big discount. But I wonder how that works out? Do you go to the shoe store and try on the shoes then come home and shop on line? Or do you just buy a brand that you have brought before? What about size? Can you return them easily? All you on line shoppers help, please.

I have and I've mostly been OK, but I'd rather go to a store and try them on. It's a pain (to me) to have to return something in the mail even if the shipper has provided a return label. I still have to get a box (or bag) and go to the post office. I'd rather go and get something and be sure of it and be done with it.

I have mostly felt that way, but the difference in costs is starting to motivate me to buy more one line. Thanks

Hey pat! I just recently tried for the very first time and actually bought a pair of navy blue mid calf leather boots from JC Penny online! And thank God they fit perfectly! I love them so much I bought another pair in the exact boot, same color because finding a navy blue boot is next to impossible and they were so damn comfortable I couldn't resist! They were $59.99 with free shipping so I was in heaven! Now I can wear them over pants, and with boot cut jeans and still have a spare if I mess up one pair! I know it sounds crazy, but if you know how many stores I went to just to find navy blue boots you'd understand! I took a big chance buying them online, but it just happened to work out! And I just bought two sweaters online again from JC Penney, got them today, again free shipping (FEDEX) and they fit too! I am so happy!

I try to avoid buying certain things online. For example.. dresses, as i can fit into a size 8-10 dress where as normally i wear a size 12 t-shirt etc. Shoes for example... they have to be fairly comfortable the first time i wear them.. baring in mind that some shoes need wearing in, So shoes i DON'T buy online. Though i would consider certain types of shoes i already wear etc. Like Van's. Because sometimes you can only get designs that you like online compared to in-store.

I actually just bought shoes online for my dad for Christmas. They just arrived the other day. I bought them from a company that I know he's ordered pants from before. I have never bought shoes online for myself though. I need to try them on in person.

I have ordered shoes online and done fine...but my trick is to stay with brands I know are sized right for my feet, ones I've worn before and liked.

okay i order my stuff from amiclubwear and I love it. The shoes are already cheap and I can wear them with no issues and return them if I dotn like them. The shipping is really fast bc I live in ga and they're located in fl. I hate traffic and I am picky about who I give my card number to and I call the numbers for customer support to see if they will answer the phone and my questions with great details. I am a great discount shopper and anyone can look good for cheap! lol

Hi, Pat! I've often bought shoes on line, and I've never been disappointed. Once, they sent the wrong size, so I returned them with their return sticker, so there was no charge for that, and they immediately sent the right size and a coupon for $10 off the next order to apologizxe! Good luck with yours!

I have bought trainers online. I am quite fussy when it comes to footwear I will only wear Nike as they are the most comfortable and look the nicest! I will buy them online from the place I find them cheapest as I need to be frugal! I still am wearing a pair from 2 and a half years ago so I do make them last! They can normally be returned easily and most companies pay for the postage to be sent back to them!

My last pair of shoes (Geox trainers) I bought online without having tried them before as they don't seem to be available in shops near me. I knew whatshoe size I was so didn't think there would be a problem. I don't regret it for a moment as they are the best trainers I have ever bought.
