Those who live on the east coast and midwest have been hit hard this past week with snow. Now is a good time to polish off those skis and head on down the slopes. If any of you are like me then going down the ski slopes is a dangerous proposition. Given my past skiing experience I am lucky to still be walking. I have come across a few ski resorts that cater to non skiers. So, if you are like me and just want a good ski resort to chill out at during this time of year then I will list a few of them here. Of course these places offer great ski slopes, but also include spas, great restaurants, and many other activities other than skiing. If any of you have been to any of them, please tell me about your experiences or if you have any other great ski resorts you want to talk about let us know about them, as well. Here it goes: 1- Bad Gastein in Austria 2- Megeve in France 3- Mont Tremblant in Montreal 4- Park City in Utah 5- Snowy Range in Spain (Granada) 6- Stowe in Vermont 7- Mount Baldy in Idaho (Sun Valley) 8- Taos Ski Valley in New Mexico 9- Whistler Blackcomb in Canada (British Columbia) 10- Zermatt in Switzerland

I think that mid winter is a great time for people that like it to go a ski resort. I haven't ever been skiing. When I visited Austria I did go up to have a look at a ski resort. I found it challenging to stand up in the snow. I liked taking the ski lift up to the top. It was an enjoyable day out. I live in Europe and if I did go skiing I might choose Andorra.
