Have you given the gift of life this Holiday season??

The gift of life that I am referring to is a blood donation. This is the time of year when blood is most needed. The weather turns nasty in most areas, there is a lot of colds and flu (leaving many unable to donate)and the high schools are closed for the holidays. (High schools are a big source for most blood banks) If you are unsure as to whether you can or not, just ask and I will see what I can do to get you started. So start your gift giving by giving the gift of life--TODAY!!

It is an easy way to help save a persons life. It can only take about 1 hour of your time. If you want more information about donating feel free to let me know. I hope you will try it sometime. Happy MyLotting!!

Gosh. This is lovely. But what if you're deathly afraid of needles? I can't get my blood drawn without passing out. I think some kind of therapy would probably help. I also have recent piercings that I've gotten this year (as well as on-again off-again bouts with anemia), which I think eliminates me from being able to. Yay for excuses! lol!

I think your best bet would be a pusher instead of a doer! ;-) What I mean is, you can go out and let people know that they are needed, instead of your having to give yourself. We can always use cheerleaders! A lot of blood banks also need volunteers for different things and maybe you can help that way. Have a very blessed Christmas!! and Happy MyLotting!!
