hi there, i've an unlimited connection and with this i can stay on internet for 24 hours 7 days per week and i pay 40 € every two months, about 56 dollars. I've seen in some advertisment that there are some keys that allow you to go on internet only for a few hours in a day or in a month. What kind of internet connection do you have? Unlimited or limited? And what do you think about internet keys? Thank you for your responses :)

I have paid in advance for the whole year's subscription. So within a year, I have no limit to access to the internet as I like.

I have an unlimited internet access for $44. Since there are always 2 computers running at the same time and accessing the internet. I don't know what you are referring to internet keys but I think we have a thing like that in the Philippines which is called an internet card. Internet Keys are not that efficient in these times since most people rely on the internet so much for games, communication and etc. Internet keys may be the choice of people who don't have the resources to purchase an unlimited connection and for those who rarely use the internet.

I recently upgraded my plan to unlimited. It cost me 30$. Before it I was using 8$ plan having 40 hour day and 40 hour night free in whole month and then 5$ per 1 GB bandwidth. So which were costing me 70$ per month.

We are on cable and this is 24/7 service. It cost us about $70.00 per month for high speed. We are on the computer about 20 hours per day between the two of us.

I have unlimited, depending on the strength of the connection because my service isn't all that great. Sometimes I can't connect because of some problem they have, but for the most part I have unlimited =D I'm really happy with that because I use the internet so much more than I watch television. There's just so much you can do with the internet. I'm not sure about the internet keys but I think some types of internet connections really do allow you go on for only a certain amount of time each day. It might be dial-up that can do something like that but I'm not sure. I'm not very good with these things.

Yes, I can't imagine not. I stay connected almost all day so if I were getting charged by the minute...that would be scary expensive! But if you don't spend much time online, then you may get a better deal paying by the minute instead of for unlimited time.

Hi codris, I also have an unlimited Internet access, I pay about 17 dollars per month. What do you mean by the Internet key only allows us to go online for a few hours? Is it a control key so that we don't go online too much? Or is it some kind of Internet connection method that allow us to access to Internet for a few hours only? I don't really know what kind of Internet key it is, but I'd definitely prefer unlimited access, as I like to surf a lot.

My connections both from the smart phone and from my laptop are unlimited, but I had to give up the mobile broadband on my laptop for two reasons 1) they do not have coverage in one of the areas I visit, and 2) the local broadband services combined cost less than the mobile service did! I do not like the limited services because they are not paying me for the time I would have to spend keeping track of my time spent. Duhhh!

I have unlimited internet and I think we pay around $50 a month for it but we got the more high speed internet especially because there are normally 2-3 computers running internet constantly in my house. For people who get timed internet I don't like the idea. For me I know I'm constantly around my computer so I feel like it wouldn't be a plan for me. Plus I think its just a hassle if you only have a certain amount of time you're allowed to use. I think unlimited is the way to go and its slowly getting cheaper over time.
