Have you ever had a baking cookie party?

When we lived in Florida my wife had a friend come over and she and my daughter baked cookies and a pie and had so much fun. My son and I went and played and got to come to a house full of delicious smells. The kitchen was really big so they could have tons of room to create.

I plan on doing the same thing with my younger children. They have so much fun baking and decorating. I hate all the mess it makes but their joy in doing this makes it all worth it! The smell of Christmas cokies fills the house and everything seems so right for the holiday! Hope you and your nieces and nephews had a great time!
