Besides the usual sandwichs everyone makes, do you have a recipe that you feel it is your own? In what ocations do you make them? I love a ham and hearts of palm sandwich with mayonaise to moisten it. I not only make them for lunch when I´m alone but I serve them for parties as appetizers in canape bread. Pleases share yours!

When I was younger I used to love sandwiches, but, as an adult I've gotten away from them. Mainly because I can't stand soggy bread. When I was younger I used to love tomato sandwiches. I also love making toast and filling them with eggs over easy to make egg sandwiches! Mmmmmmm! I also love chicken salad sandwiches made with croissants. That is sooooo dedicious! Have a great and an even better one tomorrow! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

Hi friend! Croissants won´t soggy if you use them as sandwichs. I like a mayo, pimiento chicken on a croissant. If fact, if you use that kind of bread you can even eat it alone.

Yea, I know. That's exactly why I like croissants. Because the don't get soggy like regular bread does. They are good plain too! Happy New Year! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

My simplest sandwich is a butter with sprinkled sugar on top but I love to make clubhouse sandwiches. A four layered sandwich where the first one is a scrambled egg, next is cheese, 3rd is ham and fourth is chicken with mayonaise. Fillings with tomatoes and cucumber. That's it for my clubhouse sandwich. Happy New Year, marguicha dear...

Hi, marguicha. I like the hot pimento cheese spread. This goes along good, with some white fresh bread. My aunt loved eating this when we were younger.

That sounds good, marg. my favorite sandwiches are homeade pimento cheese & tuna fish. I don't eat alot of sandwiches but like those to & there's nothing better than a good hamburger.

I've never had hearts of palm, I bet they are wonderful! Is that from young and tender fronds? When I want to do something special for a sandwich, I buy some puff pastry (it's sheets of very flakey dough). Then, whatever I plan on for fillings, I roll it up in the dough and make a stromboli. You can use almost anything for a filling. All veggie and cheese is my current favorite, but sometimes I like salami and cheese.

I am not particularly into sandwiches, i'm more of a bruschetta fan. For that, i like to use tomatoes, mozarella, and scallop sprinkled on top with dried rosemary herbs! YUM!
