Christmas Fruit cake [Do people even eat it LMAO]

As a kid growing up i think the worse Christmas gift you could possibly give someone is a fruit cake, i mean it taste awful lol, when i use to give trouble my mom would that i might get a fruit cake under the tree lmao. But do people even enjoy getting or eating fruist cake as a christmas gift?? like days after xmas my neighbours garbage would be filled with them lol and that still happens to the very day.

My folks send me one every year and I always wish it were bigger. I love the stuff. Then again, they make it with excellent ingredients.

Fruit cakes here are very expensive seldom have it, only the rich ones maybe. Others love eating fruit cakes though I enjoy eating this in thin slices if you do in bigger bites no longer appetizing. Lucky for people here to receive fruit cake as christmas gift.

we've had one passing back and forth in my family for the last 20+ years as a joke.
last time i saw it,it looked exactly the same as the first.
i can't imagine eating it then or now,though i've heard some actually do like that fruit hockey puck. *yuck*
