Hello everyone well what a Day
First of all the reason I am on is that we are staying at the Hotel where my Daughter works as her Heating broke this morning, they are suppose to come out in the Morning to fix it, if not we will be staying here and of course I thing it is great as they have INTERNET yeahhhhh
Well I have had a long Day and believe me I can feel it
I got up at 5.30am as I was not sleeping well again, showered, dressed, then took Gissi out
Came back loaded up the Car as soon as Gissi's Bed bed went in the Car he knew and he ran for it as he does not like the car, so then I was trying to persuade Gissi to come out from under the Bed which took me 15 minutes, picked him up and put him in the car, as I opened the Door to get in the Car Gissi did his normal Trick and shot out of the car, so again I am trying to get him in the car, everytime I said get in the Car, he stood there looked at me and barked, after 10 minutes I got impatient with him and told him in a mad Voice to get in the Car, he came towards me with his head down which of course made me feel awful
We set of, normally the trip takes 3 hours, it took over 4 hours, when we arrived I had a coffee we then set of for town after dropping Gissi with my Son, Gissi was so happy to see my Son lol but not happy when Mum left without him, he was very tired to which was not surprising as all the way here again he kept sneezing on me, he was up and down all the way
We then had 2 hours in town I was getting slower and slower my Lungs where hurting and my Breathing bad, we then went back to my Sons for an hour
After that we went to my Daughters House to get our overnight Stuff and came to the Hotel, she is downstairs with her Work Mates and I am here comfortable in Bed with the Laptop on the INTERNET
So Folks I have arrived safe, Gissi is shattered and asleep in his bed and I am here with my Friends
I will also be here on Saturday as Mel is going out for the Day with her Friend and Mike is working so I can be here all Day yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This is great lol

Hey gabs! Well glad to hear that you made it all the way to your
daughter's house pretty much without incident, well of course
except for little Gissi not wanting to get into the car and all!
But, glad that you arrived safely anyway! And how wonderful that
you are staying at the hotel so that you can still visit with us,
for now at least! I do hope your daughter's heat is fixed soon!
You didn't say what you were doing for Christmas dinner! Is
someone cooking or are you all going out for dinner?

Hi there Sweet I am able to be here now and again as my Son has lent me his Dongel which is a mobile internet thing
I can only do so much though lol as it is not as good as the Internet but hey better then nothing
My Daughter cooked and it was lovely to
The Heating got fixed the next Day so all was well on that one

I have got my Sons Mobile Dongle and it is so slow I just can not handle it lol
Gissi is behaving just for a change lol
He misses you all to but no doubt he might be here to tell his version lol

Glad to know you made it okay and that Gissi is catching up on his sleep...I am sure on Christmas Morning when he opens his gifts he will find it was all worth while....make sure you take good care of your lungs.....don't get too cold or wet!

I am trying my best to keep well but I am not to good right now and it is hard to hide it from the Kids but I am sure that I will be ok
I am keeping warm so no worries
I am heading back home on Friday afternoon lol so all that drive again

Hiya sweetheart! Glad you got there safely, er eventually, Gissi what is he like eh! He even gets up to mischief when I am not around! Did you pack his bra for him LOL! Does that mean you will be spending Christmas at the hotel? All sounds rather grand, does that mean you will be waited on? Glad you managed to get online! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and get some lovely pressies, look after yourself sweetie and I've put in a good word to Santa for both of you xxx No doubt Gissi will get spoilt rotten when he's up there and I shall look forward in hearing all about it from both of you ;0) xxxxx

Hi Gabs,
What an eventful day you and Gissi had! Sounds as if you are smiling and taking it all in stride anyway. It actually sounds kind of fun and a day you will look back on and remember. Having internet sure does help pass the time anyway. Hopefully your daughter's heat will be fixed soon and you'll all have a great holiday!

I am so glad you made it ok and even tho you have to stay in a motel you will be warm!.
and that Gissi he loves it when he gets there dont know why ya have that trouble getting to stayin the car to go .
CHey has got another cough and I am so hoping that it goes away before tomorrow as we are to go to Clays for dinner and If she is sick dont wan tto make them sick too.
I will just have to see how she is all day today and early in the morning if fever we wont go.

Sounds like u have it all going on, lol. Just sitting up there in that hotel living the life of reily, good for u. Hate your daughter's heat is broken but at least u are getting a nice break over it.

Hello, Gabs. Glad you arrived safely, though I suspect Gissi may make you feel very guilty for a while! It's great that you have some to yourself to relax a bit ahead of Christmas. Hope the lungs are well rested now. I have Lupus, which affects my lungs, and when I get a flare up it's so painful. How can anything that's basically a sponge hurt so much, I wonder? There's one thing about feeling tired and unwell though - you don't feel guilty about being on the computer when perhaps you should be doing something else. Enjoy it while you can, and have a great time with your family.

I am glad to be lying in this bed now believe me
I have Emphasimia and COPD and I know I have overdone today, in the Morning we have to do the Food Shopping and then I hope or the rest of the Day nothing as I do need a break or I know I will end up sick again and in much Pain, but I took a Pain Killer tonight so it is easing, I did enjoy my time in town with my Daughter though, so it was worth it lol

It seems you are going to have some time to yourself and some well needed undisturbed rest. I love staying in a hotel, specially if they are taking good care of you and you seem to be enjoying yourself too!

Hi there Sud we just had to stay the one Night as the Heating got fixed the next Day
But it has been nice yes
As for the rest I will be getting that when I get back home lol, my Daughter seems to be dragging me all over lol

It does sound like you had quite a day! Wow! I don't blame gissi for not liking car rides. Our family dogs are definitely much different from one another. One enjoys car rides, and the other doesn't. Though I can hardly blame the other one as the last time he went for a car ride I believe was when he needed to go to the vet for a followup after he got bit!
He's very skiddish now after that, but the other one is as hyper as ever!

Wow!! Coco and I certainly envy you
big time. coco loves the car. or anything that goes with her in it. i often say she should have been a truckers dog. all you have to do is say lets go bye-bye and shes there. she even leaped into my sons truck seat when he first got it and its so high i have to grab the lift handle over the door to pull into it

Hello Gabs, I'm back, hope you had the merriest Christmas, yeahh Gabs it's great to have internet all the time. My life was so boring for more than a month without the internet, good it's okey now, so feel alive communicating with online friends again.
