Of course I'm being sarcastic about it. I saw this on live tv like many people who thought the boy was up in the balloon. His parents just got sentenced to jail time and won't be able to make money off the stunt they pulled for 4 years and their dream of a reality show went up in smoke. Were you having a panic attack when you thought the boy was up in the balloon at that time? That was made for live tv.

Im not sure if any amount of jail time would be enough really. I think their punishment is simply the fact that people recognise them now and know what they did. Allowing millions of people to beleive that a child (their own) was in such danger was so wrong. Im not sure of the legal implications but morally they are the lowest of the low in my opinion.

Yes I think they should of gotten more jail time than they got for such a stunt. They scared the day lights out of all of us thinking the child was up in that balloon, and they cost the taxpayer a lot of money during the tracking of this balloon. Not to mention when it came down we thought that the child had fallen out. People that have to resort to this type of attention, should be punished. And should be made to pay back what it cost the government to tract this hoax in planes and people. They have reality now jail time for such a stunt.
