I know! Sometimes I was like that person too! Whenever I'm watching my all-time favorite show I get pissed when someone is bugging me, haha..
Or if someone is talking while I'm watching my favorite show. hehe!

I sometimes say this to a good friend of mine! When I'm watching a favourite show or a movie he chats and chats and chats and he just doesn't realise that I'm trying to watch my favourite show. It gets to such a point where I finally have to be abrupt and get him to understand and then things are fine! I suppose it can be funny at times and I do take this with a pinch of salt myself but I guess there has to be a balance when it comes to this. Andrew

First of all, let me say I really do not watch that much television. I'm down to watching only three shows a week. Of those three there are only two that I follow that closely Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. It is not that I won't talk during these shows it is more like a prefer not to talk. It is just me and the cat, so the only interruptions is if I get a phone call while I am watching television. I will answer the phone. Generally, I will talk to whomever it is briefly, but prefer not to get into a long conversation. As you could say, I really want to watch the show. It all depends on the priority of the phone call. If I can call the person back that is great if not I will talk to the person. I look at this way I can always download the episode on ABC's website and rewatch the show.
I do know what you are talking about. I used to work with someone who are freakish about Survivor being interrupted. Being the evening receptionist, there were a couple occassions that I just had to call this person about a situation at work. Oh, let me tell you I would hear about it if I was interrupting Survivor. I'll give you the calls were always more important like an employee going to the ER with a chemical reaction on their hands from cleaning products. Then, there was the time that the carpet cleaners came in to clean the lobby and it was all setup for a function the next day. The clearning company was stating that it was going to be an issue, so I had to call the director. I remember finding it so funny as the director was yelling at me saying it was "saccroreligious" to interrupt Survivor.
