I really love animals. When I was a child my family had cats and I adored them. Now I am grown up I have got two dogs. I got Secret in 2004 and Magic in 2006. I love taking them for walks and giving them attention. I have a vegan diet because I don't like to eat animals. I live on the edge of countryside. There is a river and sometimes I see swans on it. I live close to fields and there I often see cows earing the grass. Do you love animals? Have you got any pets? Do you see many animals in your locality?

sure i love animals expecially cute and animals that you can take inside your house, expecially rabbit, cats, dogs. I love animals but i love also to eat meat, i don't eat meat of rabbit or dogs or cats, but i like cow, horse and pig meat. I would like to take a small rabbit for me, a little and cute rabbit, more lovely than my bad cat.

When I was a child I had a rabbit called Miffy. In my teenage years I had a rabbit called Sally and my sister had a rabbit called Tiggy. I think all rabbits are really adorable. I like cats and miss having one. I love dogs. You eat some types of meat and are an animal lover. Happy Christmas.

I Love animals.. I have 14 cats and 4 dogs.. We live in the middle of the city. But we often see animals in out area. Just tonight I walked out my front door looking for one of my kittens and there at the bottom of my porch steps was a young opossum. We have had skunks and raccoons in our yard as well. But what was really cool was the Large Hawk that flew into our tree a few months ago.. It was so close and so big and sat there long enough for me to study it. After it left I ran in to the computer and started trying to figure out exactly what bird we had just saw. It turns out it was a rare Hawk that wasn't often spotted in our state. But since i didn't have the forethought to get my camera and snap some pics.. I couldn't really prove it had actually been there.. Oh well I saw it anyway- and it was beautiful!

That's wow-able. An environment full of life. Here in our town, I don't see those kinds of animals, because we only have them in zoos. :( I often see a lot of stray dogs and cats here, but there is this different kind of bird that I'm seeing frequently since we moved here. It's definitely not a sparrow (which is very common here in the Philippines). It sings beautifully, it's black and it has a red spot on its chest. Every time I hear the familiar song I stand by the door to have a glimpse of it.

Buster - My beagle, Buster.
I have hade some type of pet all the years of my life. Right now I have my beagle, Buster whose photo is attatched. He is like family to me and my wife and dad. My daughter gave him to us 5 years or so ago and he has changed a lot in those years. He loves the snow. My neighborhood is filled with dogs. One man a few houses down has 4 dogs. I watch him each day walk them all one at a time. Buster likes just one of them and doesn't bark at that one. The others walk by, and Buster howls like a rabid wolf. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Buster looks like a wonderful dog. My dogs bark at some dogs they know. It is funny like they wish to play. It is lovely that Buster has changed a lot over the years that you have had him. The man you know that has four dogs must be kept quite busy. When I was a teenager I walked some terriers. I walked three first and then the other two. The three lived upstairs and the two lived downstairs. Happy Christmas my friend Grandpa Bob.

I too love animals. In my boyhood we have two pet dogs. My father and brothers & sisters love them very much. But some miscreants killed them. At this incident we got shock. After that we never brought any pets at our home. Still I love pets. I'm not a vegetarian. Rarely I eat meat. Usually I eat fish and vegetables. I love nature and like to see free birds and beasts. I live in a city. So there is no free animals. But my home is at a village. My village is surrounded by hills and forests. There are plenty of birds and and animals.

I definately have always loved animals. As a child I couldn't really hav any,but now I have a dog and I always owned a dog since I became an adult.I had one dog when I was a child and didn't own it that long ,because we were moving and couldn't take it with us.then after that I never had a dog because my parents always said "no".At least now they can't tell me no.I have one dog but want another one.I'm hoping to mo0ve someplace ,where the landlord will let me have two. Here I can have one.Dogs are my favorite pet.I really enjoy their company.Where I live it's a dog neighborhood, pretty much everyone owns a dog here.

It is excellent that you have a dog and live in a doggy friendly locality. My parents wouldn't let me have a dog when I was a child because they said our cats wouldn't like them. I have gerbils in my twenties. Then I achieved my dream of getting a dog in my thirties. I now have another dog and it is double the pleasure. I own my house but I know some landlords have rules about keeping pets. Good luck with getting a second dog and moving.

I like the idea of having animals being kept as pets. But I am afraid of animals to be honest. I am afraid of dogs and cats and chickens and birds and whatever. It just freaks me out when an animal comes close to me. I would have liked to have a dog at home or something. But I cannot seem to overcome my fear of these animals. I guess when I was a child, I was chased by a dog and the dog started licking me when I tripped and fell, and I never got over that particular episode. So now, every time a dog comes near me, I freeze and have this overwhelming fear build inside me. With cats, I just can't stand them. I would scream when I see a cat. Yeah, I'm weird! Haha!

After living 18 years on a farm, I would be weird if I didn't love animals. I grew up around horses, pigs, goats, cows, chickens, etc. There wasn't a part of my childhood that there wasn't a dog or a cat walking around. I currently have 3 dogs and a hamster. We got our Beagle aka Ladybug when she was only 6 months old, she's now 11. Our 2nd, is our mix breed aka Shiloh, we got her when she was 6 wks old in a Walmart parking lot, we basically saved her from going to the pound. Then last but not least the baby of the family. Our Basset Hound aka Chloe, we got her last year when she was 6 wks old in a Target parking lot. They keep me busy, especially Chloe. Chloe has a disease often referred as puppy lameness. The only animals I see around are stray dogs, squirrels, and birds. I haven't seen the moles that are tearing up my back yard up yet, just wish they would find a new place to dig holes.

You're a vegan? I've never once in all my time on mylot heard you belittle someone or talk down to them because they eat meat. That can't be said about other vegans on mylot. I know from experience! I love animals too. In an ideal world I'd be a vegetarian. If I could afford it, I'd only eat fish.

I am a cat person. We have 3 plus Sunny (if we ever manage to lure him back). There are lots of animals in our area. In addition to horses and cows we see deer, skunks, raccoons, coyotes, geese, ducks, herons, etc. There's evidence of beavers though we've never actually seen one. And I know in the higher elevations there are otters and porcupines and other critters.

All our family is animal & bird lovers. When we were kids we had dog & lots of cats. But after the accident of my dog I never had one and I really miss him. But we have lots of cats. At the moment we have some love birds and nighting gales. As soon as u step in the house u will listen to their hamming. And in the monring though we are not in coutry side , but sparrows , crows and ofcourse our birds too sing. My mother always put some food for them on the balcony. In my office I have also bird feed for them. When I come to my office the first thing that I do is that I clean the bowls and put water and feed for them. U will see that the pigeons come first , then crown, then sparrows. if the feed is finsihed and I am busy , they come to knock on my windows. Once one of them come to my room as well.

Wow! Now I envy you! That's exactly the kind of environment that I want to live in, with lots of animals and full of life. That's my ideal hometown for me, very relaxing and rejuvenating. I love animals very much. I love dogs, puppies, and kittens. I have a dog named Whitey. I would love to have more but my mom and my grandmother wouldn't let me. I love wild animals as well. Tigers. Dolphins. Whales. It is actually one of my dreams to go to Africa and have a close glimpse of the wildlife there. I would actually love to pursue wildlife photography, or environmental protection. I HATE poachers, I HATE illegal human activities that harm their habitat, and I HATE obnoxious people who are rude to animals.
