What is a paid online survey?

Does anybody know what a paid online survey is? And how does it work? Do you have to pay to take an online survey, and you earn afterwards or something? I just get the real hang of it. It's a bit confusing.

+Some companies are ready and willing to pay for your opinions as they need them to improve their products/services.
They pay you for the surveys and hence you call it as paid surveys.
Most of the sites are free to join. but there are tons of scam sites out there who would ask you to pay some amount to make you earn from highly rewarding survey companies that is not real.
Only USA and Canada living people have good earning scope from surveys. As an Indian you can make about Rs 10000 per year if you know how to attend the surveys telling lies.

You never know which one is real and which one isn't. That is the most irritating part.

I think we can easily understanding the meaning from its name. A paid online survey is a website which will paying us for doing survey on their site. I think such site has cooperation with some companies which want public to give their opinions, thoughts, suggestion, and feedback about their products. Usually such site serving mostly US citizen. But some online paid survey also serving international members. But we must read all the rules to avoiding being rejected due to some rules which perhaps is not match with our geographical condition. Some paid survey also just scam sites so we also need to rechecking about such sites track record before we try it. Good luck for you and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

Yea, this whole thing is kind of a scam I guess... Ha ha.. Most of these sites ask you to pay 25$ as a minimum fee.
I am not sure what these things are about, and I was totally put off with the way they market themselves and assure you as if you can make millions overnight.
