yes. i always make a stocking for my pets in christmas, and fill it with their treats as well as a toy. now, i have one cat left, and i filled his stocking with bunch of cat treats that i know he loves to eat as well as i added a pillow pet stuffed sheep. my cat is like a private investigator. after put everything into his stocking and placed the stocking by the christmas tree, he came wandering by the tree and started sniffing it. he knew there is food for him in it. but he didnt open like he usually does. he just walked on buy. when i gave him his stuffed animal, i dont think he liked it. he just sniffed if to see if it is real, curious to see what it is, and just ignored. he much prefers food and treats than toys. my late dogs liked toys as well as foods and treats.

My dog loves both hehehe, and when it comes to toys, he never gets bored with them even if he plays with them everyday hehe. But he enjoys it more when we play with him.

Our cat, Sleepy, got left out this year, or maybe he didn't. He's 5 1/2 years old now and does nothing but sleep or lie in someone's lap begging to be petted. When he gets a new toy, he may play with it a couple of minutes, or he may ignore it from the get go. So I gave him the wrapping paper. He batted it around for about a minute, then, got in the box and went to sleep. I'm sure he wouldn't have done more with an expensive toy.

His name really fits his character haha, that is for sure. Cute name to give a cat hehehe, like one of snow white's dwarves.

Now that I think of it, my two dogs probably got more gifts then I did. I guess everyone wanted to spoil them because this is their first Christmas with us. But they got a few different treats, some stuffed animals and other toys, and new dog pillows. I also bought my chihuahua, Daisy, a new collar because hers was becoming gross looking. But I could tell that they loved all their gifts and they were very excited with all of the activity going on today. It was really funny to see them pounce of their new bones the moment they saw them.

Our Dog's present will be the visitors and the cat's a warm place to hide, he doesn't like changes in his day. What I would give in gift to my pets I give instead to the shelter for those not as lucky. Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS If I had gotten my little Yorkie I sure would haven gotten her/him a stocking full of special little treats. I think for those that have a pet should be doing the same for them. Have a great day and keep smiling.

Yes I think pets should be treated as family membbers, they give joy and protection to the family, that is why they should be treated as well on christmas day.

I don't even have a Christmas list. Christmas in my country ain't as nice as the other countries. Christmas seems to be a normal day for everyone. They just did handshakes and some little gifts. Mentioning my country's economy condition is really low.

Really? Maybe your country is not a Christian country who really celebrates the birth of Christ. The economic status of my country now is also very low, but the people still find ways to celebrate. Many people say that Filipinos are happy by nature hehe.

I do try to include my pets on my shopping lists during the holidays because I know I for one sometimes forget to get them all the nice stuff I should have been getting them all along so when it comes to the holidays I try to get more stuff for them so they've got all they need to be taken care of.

I don't have a dog but I do have two cats and I always but them some kind of toy for Christmas and wrap it up and put it under the tree for them. I also get them some toy or something for their birthday. That probably sounds pretty weird but my pets are like my kids and I don't want them to feel left out.

Merry Christmas! We did buy our little Doxie a Christmas present, she's a year old, born on December 7, 2008. We bought her a long, pink, soft weiner dog toy. She has a lilac one, which has seen alot of wear, so we decided she needed a new one. Molly loves it! She slept with it last night and carries it every where.

What I bought my pet dog "Bok" was a rope toy, I made one before but it did not survived hehehe. I bought something more durable haha, but I don't think it will last until next year because Bok is such a naughty dog hehe.
