Have you been hit on by someone of your gender?

I am curious, because since I cut my hair short I have been hit on several times by other girls and at first I laught a lot, because I never perceieved myself as a boyish looking girl, but now i begin to wonder about it. Two days ago a women at work was aksing a collegue if I were a lesbian and after my collegue have said to her that I am not, she have said that she "would eat me if she get the chance".... It is not a problem to me: I can refuse to women the same way I can refuse to men, but now my collegues are making fun of me. I guess I will just have to wait for my hair to become long again. So have you been hit by someone of your own gender? Or is it just me?

Will all know what can alchochol do to you, but that is your excuse, not theirs. Or were they drunk, too?

I guess she did take advantage of you, but wouldn't you be as angry if it was a guy, who took advantage of you? Because there are guys that wait for the girls to get drunk and then start hitting on them

Hi, thewayis. Yes, I had an altercation with a young girl one time. She lived next door to my cousin and she wanted to kiss me. When I found out that this was what she was doing, I hit her in the face really hard! She cried and her face was beet red. I have also had looks from other women, but these days it is very hard to tell if someone is gay just by looking at them. There are many women that are very beautiful that goes the other way, and you would never know it.

Wow, she tried to kiss you just like that? With no indication of her intentions? Well, that is just rude, stupid and incosiderate. It doesn't matter if it is a girl or a boy, if someone tries to kiss me just out of the blue, i guess I would hit him/her, too.

Yes, it started with us playing hide and seek. We ended up hiding in the same location and that is when she moved her face to my face and tried to kiss me. I was very surprised because she caught me off guard. She wore glasses too. She was so nice when I met her, I had no idea that she went the other way.. It was very creepy.

IF you put it that way, then yes, I agree that it was very creepy of her. :P People don't suddenly do that, you know. They usually tell you first or something. No matter whether it is a girl or a guy, if they kiss you suddenly, then it is something to be bewared of. :)

Hi thewayis, It mite not be your hair at all. I have long hair and I've been hit on by women a few times. She was probably just attracted to you and wanted to know if you were her type. Not all lesbians have short hair. I think it is pretty sad that your colleages are making fun of you. That would bother me more than a woman inquiring about me.

I thought it is my hair, because it strated to happen after I cut it :). Maybe it was just the trigger. And most of my collegues don't make fun of me in the bad way - I have a nice sense of self-irony and we laughed together a lot, because the situation was just weeping for a good laugh. However, there are some, who make fun of me in the bad way, which is irritating and the guys even vreated scenarios involving me, her, them and cameras :0 But they are just guys, I am used to their humour

no this has never happened to me to be honest. not sure how i would handle such a thing though as i am straight. i have friends that are lesbians and i have no issues or problems with that.

your colleagues don't sound very mature. anyway yes i have and i deal with it the same way that i deal with anyone that i don't fancy hitting on me. more or less say nicely i am not interested.

Hey thewayis! It happened to me only once in my life so far, and it was my best friend, I didn't notice the hints and stuff that he gave me, (And he kept it a secret for so long, that sly devil). It was only when he told me one day that he was crushing on me. I felt extremely awkward because its not everyday I deal with this in a situation. I had to tell him how I felt about him and carefully rejected him, by saying that I don't go that way.

You've been considerate of his feelings. Are you still friends? Or something like this ruined your friendship?

I have always been tagged as a lesbian because of my closeness with my bestfriends, plus the fact that one of my closest friends is a lesbian. But I am not one and I don't think I will be. I have been hit by colleagues of my own gender twice, but I don't really mind. I know who I am and I do tell them that I am not interested in hooking up with them. By the way, my hair is long and I wear skirts and yet I still get hit by my own gender.

quite often. I just seem to be quite attractive to lesbians. which is okay. it's always flattering when someone considers you attractive. people that get uptight about it are a bit pathetic I think.
