Ebay/paypal made me refund someone when I said no refunds on my item.

I listed an item and listed it as no refunds accepted, as is an option on ebay. But the person decided they didn't want it because they were trying to sell it to someone else who backed out and they made up some story about damage that it did not have and opened a claim and ebay/paypal made me refund him, the just took the money right out of my bank account! I dont understand why they would let you list an item as no refunds if that isn't really an option!

You have to respond to the claim. If you don't respond then you're going to lose. I'd state that right in the description the buyer agreed to "no returns, no refunds" so this dispute is invalid. I'm sorry that it was refunded you can file a dispute with paypal perhaps. Make sure if you DO end up losing that the buyer RETURNS your items. They shouldn't get to keep it.

I did respond and that's why i was so upset about. Its like they didn't read my response at all or don't care. I even told them how another ebay user warned me about him.

im sorry to hear what happened, paypal/ebay has a buyer protection same as seller protection for the seller and your no refund option may bypass once the buyer filed a dispute or claim against you, if you feel that the buyer made only a story just to get the money back you can filed also a case against the buyer and the resolution team/center will get back to you or will email you for any further instruction to resolve the issue
