What are you hoping for most in 2010?

Many of us start each new year with a goal or plan. Do you? I am in the process of starting my own business so I am busier than I know how to be. So one thing I really wish for in 2010 would be a relaxing vacation! I haven't been on one for a few years and would love to enjoy a week at the beach with plenty of time for lounging and snorkeling and diving...can almost imagine it now! So that is my goal for 2010, to get my business going strong enough that I can finally take a "real" island vacation...What is on your wish list?

Dreams are the only thing by which a person can fulfill his mind conquests.Dreams are made by individual to move in life without dreams life is nothing . As to of my dream in 2010 is to help not only me but my friends to lead a good prosper life , dreams a person comes to know about what he wants to become in life or what are his or her desires in life dreams are meant to be dreamed off. if dreams are not their person life would become dull

I completely agree! Without dreams we have no goals and life loses meaning and hope. Hope is what gets me up to work some more on my new business even tho I am tired, there's more to do so up I get. And I know that with every day I am getting abit closer to my dreams. Hope is the fuel that my dreams need to thrive!!

What are your dreams, not in context to todays world rather generaly asking as every one has some personal ones also? love to be afriend of yours as through conversations people can come close to one another and share feelings with one another which in true sense is quite helpful so. will wait for your reply?

Well, for me, the most important thing will be my wedding before our spring festival. Besides, I wish I can do much better in my job and earn more money. The last wish is to get a break on my speaking english and Cantonese, and make a lot of friends.

Thank you, Tallygirl! Well, spring festival is the biggest festival in China (just like your Christmas holiday), it's our new-year-celebration festival as lunar calendar(The traditional Chinese calendar).

Congratulations!!! How exciting. And a Spring time wedding sounds ideal as the earth renews itself, you are starting a new life too! What kind of Spring Festival? English is a tough language to learn but I have heard that Cantonese is far harder? Good Luck and Best Wishes!!! You have lots to be hopeful about and more to come!

I hope most to get a job for myself in the coming year and I like to bring home a companion for my mother. I want a little favour for myself this year from the almighty.

Finding a new job will bring so many blessings your way. Trust that he will bring you the right opportunity at the right time. I remember one job that I really wanted and didn't get,,,only to find out months later the company went out of business so I was in a much better position for not having gotten that one! And how special your mother knows you to be that you are thinking of her as part of your new goals!

Yeah my mom knows everything. I want to get a better job for me only because of her and so that I could serve her much better way. As she was betrayed of everything by her elder son and his wife, so I am her only hope and I, at any cost, don't want to let her hopes down. Though I want a companion for myself but I want her much for my mother as she loves talking to persons but don't get that help very much.

What kind of online job do you have? Have you thought about ways that you can ensure your success? Sounds like you are hoping for most of what makes most of us feel secure and hopeful. When my career is going well, I find that I am far healthier than when things are tough. Stress can weaken our immune systems badly. And I agree, with God all things are possible, providing it's his will. Best Wishes!!

I'm hoping that we'll have no financial problems more like in 2009. Very scary and sad. Also, I'm gonna do my best to eat with less fats. Exercise more and be healthy. Coz health is wealth, I couldn't ask for more. And I'll study more harder. Less internet and less friend bonding. Just, focus more on school works. I want to apply a part time job. A Sales girl could be~ But yeah~ I really want to help my family.

What a great list of goals you have! And I couldn't agree more, Health is Wealth is so many ways! And if you focus on School more now, you will profit later with a better job. A Sales girl would be a fun job and you'd meet lots of nice people. Very best wishes for you and your family to have a happy healthy prosperous new year!!

What I am looking forward to is to move to a nice, peaceful, and quiet place to live. The place I am now is too close to the main roads, and gets pretty croded and noisy at times. I feel it is time now to find a more relaxing place, possibly more of a country-side surrounding. Ofcourse, it has to be a convenient place to get to my work place too.

Ah..that sounds wonderful. I think you may find that the trade off of a longer commute might well be worth it. There is nothing that brings a richer sense of peace to me than being in nature and having a peaceful home means so much. I used to live out in the country,,,,miles from town with a corn field across the road and a natural lake on the side of the house and I loved it. But it was abit too far from where I needed to be. I think I might want to move myself and find a more serene setting. I am in busy neighborhood and have a small backyard that is fenced in but my neighbors are right there. I miss looking out at the lake at all times of the day and breathing in the fresh green scented air....I think you might have given me a new goal to add to my list!! Best Wishes!!

I have three resolutions this year. The first is to lose 30 lbs. The second is to sell or lease my home and move out of state and the last resolution is to write a mystery novel. Best of luck to everyone in their resolutions/goals for the new year.

Wow, such different goals but I think they could all fit well together. I do some of my best thinking when I am exercising and my mind can wander abit, that might work for you when you are planning your novel. And I lost 15 pounds by making small changes and working out abit every day but keeping it within reason. I have met some folks who feel guilty if they don't go to the gym or run every day. Not me! And I still have some weight to lose but by changing small things I know that I can keep it off and be so much healthier. And maybe moving to a new location will bring with it some inspirations for you with your novel...Best Wishes for an exciting year!

I think your feelings echo some many of us that are worried about our finances. All you can is your best job and maybe put together your resume and see what other options you might have. That way if it comes down to a job loss, you will be in a better position to move ahead and find another even better one. Wanting a home of your own is awesome and if you put your mind to it and start saving every week, you will be able to make that dream come true! And if you get a car that will also open up more options for a better job and give you a feeling of control. Public transportation is key to saving our environment, I feel but one does need to be able to get where one needs to be regardless of a timetable. Have you set a specific amount that you want to save? If you think of it that way, it'll be easier to get there! Best Wishes!!

Wow, you are taking on alot of different but exciting challenges! Have you ever considered keeping a journal? I do and it helps me stay focused on what is really important to me. Volunteering can go hand in hand with a few of your plans, it's made me reset what is important to me. When you see others in situations so much harder or different than your own, you grow and that's what we are all here for in my humble opinion. I volunteer at a Women's shelter and seeing what many have gone thru makes me so grateful for what I have. And I realize that I need to continue to help them since it also helps me but I think I get the better part of the deal! I wish you all the best!

I hope for an improvement on this past year. All things considered, 2009 was a much better year than 2008 at least for me. I hope for a vast improvement in 2010 as well. As for more specific things that I want. Hopefully to remain healthy as I did this year. Not that much time I spent being sick, only a few days, a personal best for me. Also, to make a fair amount of income online from my online income opportunities. 2009 was decent enough. I've had better, I've had worse. 2010 hopefully will be a great year but only time will tell.

How philisophical you are! I know that 2010 will be a great year since I am going to do everything I can to make it so. And congrats on getting healthier, it's amazing what small changes can do. I started working out and have stuck with it for about 6 months now and I feel better, sleep better and have so much more energy to take on new things. 2009 was a tough year for me but I learned alot and will take that with me into the new year. And it gives me more focus for my business which is a challenge of my own creation, just as yours have been. Best Wishes, tho I think you have a great attitude and plan to succeed!
