Do you give comments to discussions your friends started?

Aside from replying to the response/comments that I get from the discusssions I started, I see to it everyday that I can engage to the discussions my friends started. Tonight I even counted how many of my friends lives in my location and I found out that two thirds of my friends are mixture of asian, american and british nationals.

According to me, my first responses'll be to my friend's discussions. Then will I jump to see the other discussions on the page.
I don't know why that sort of handling, but I just prefer it this way my friend.

Hi rock_me_in! Now we are friends, thanks for taking time to add me in your list. My daily routine is I check the discussions I started then response to some of the comments, then I'll view my friends discussion and take part to the topic I find interesting and lastly find discussions in my interest lists.

I always try to if I have something to say, but I wont just give a 5 word answer if the subject didnt interest me
plus I got so many friends now its a nightmare lol,
though wish mylot would add something so we can see how many of our friends are actually still active on the site

You can, unless they took it away. As I said in other discussions off and on, I am new, but only semi new. I used to be a member a long time ago and at that time, if you went to a person's profile, you could see when they last logged in. I used to do this all the time. If my friends hadn't logged into the site for several months, I deleted them so that I kept my friends list full of active members only. I haven't looked at someone's profile lately to see if that feature is still there, but I don't see why myLot would take it away.

Well, I always give comments only when I have comments or something to say regarding to the discussions, but not only limited to the discussions my friends started. Of course, I will also check out the discussions my friends started, and if I have any comments, I'll just reply to them. But I don't think I have time to check out all the discussions one by one, as I don't have much time to spend in mylot too.

Yes you are right. Im not here either in myLot 24/7, I only respond when I have time and if the topic seems interesting.

I make it a point to respond to the discussions started by my friends. They also do like-wise. It is always great fun to interact with friends here on mylot and I get to learn a lot.

Hi dpk: in general I think that it's easier to answer my friends questions because they are also related to what i like to talk about in mylot and yeah, we get to learn a lot from our friends here in mylot. By responding to the discussions started by your friends, you are establishing friendship since you are able to exchange ideas with them. But it doesnt mean we have to reply to everything since definitely not all of the discussions interest us. One more thing is we dont have all the time to share. Thanks for sharing your input.

As far as I am concerned, I usually give some tips to my friends who have just started recently. I will tell them what kind of the topic can she or he mat start. What kind of post will attract the eyes of mylots? The most important thing is that she or he must follow the rules of mylot.com. Sometimes, I will recomment some other sotes to them. Happy mylot.

that's so nice of you that you even manage to check on where your friends are located..huh! that's good!
with me, i am not that active now in starting a discussion and so most of the time, i am just responding & commenting back to discussions... i respond to the discussions that interests me regardless of who started it...but, i give priority to my friend's discussions...it fun responding to discussions and its also a nice way of knowing our friends more...and yeah, friendship will start through exchanges of comments & responses...
i really try my best to participate on my friend's discussions but sometimes, i was not able to do that since i also have some other things that needs to be done offline and time is kinda limited...but whenever i find time, i dig even the oldest discussion of my friend!

I try to remember to check my friends posts every day.
I don't comment on ALL of them, but I comment on as many as I have something to say about.

Not just friends but whoever that answers my questions I will put my comments if their response calls for it. Sometimes there will be no generation of discussion with certain responses when I do not comment.

As far as I am concerned, I think I willl usually give the comment that my friends whoch have started an topic . But sometimes I will not reply the post which I think is not suit me so much. Seldom have I remark the best response except the one is so best. Happy mylot.

I sometimes do, but only to the topic that i can relate to, so that i know how to comment and share my opinion as well. And about viewing my friends profile i do not bother to do so, i don't have much time to do that, wow! you participate well here in mylot:) keep it up!

yes definatly i fond to enjoy discussing and why not i will really enjoy starting discussion one of my freind and really enjoy enswering tham even i also tonight counted how many of my freinds lives in my home town. and somt two forth of my freinds. are hindu.

it depends on the topic. coz there are topics which does not interest me and others where i dont have any idea at all. most of these topics that i dont respond to have something to do with their present situation in their country. happy new year maria1081

I always do when i have the opportunity and I log in but their are days i am off here as i have other things to do just like in the past days as i am busy doing the last minute shopping, doing grocery, cleaning and preparing/cooking food for Christmas dinner, attending parties, attending midnight mass and so on with lots of activities on hand..

mostly i respond to the discussions my friends started... normally, i don't spend much time in myLot... when i log in, i choose discussions from the home page... so, most discussions i respond to are started by my friends... sometimes, i surf the profiles of mylot users and from their profile pages i often choose one or two topics to respond... that makes me respond to others' discussions too, but most of the posts i reply to are started by my friends...

Yes, I always check my friends discussions even before today's top ones. I don't always have something to say on their discussions, but I always go through them. I think it is natural. It would be troublesome if you try to respond to every interesting discussion there is, but we can at least comment these made by our friends. Well, I guess that I wouldn't say that if I had more friends here, but as it is now....

when i open my lot sight i comments my friends discussion and then i receive all top and comments them who i would like to give comments.
