Did you go out bargain hunting today?

I went to two stores...not necessarily bargain hunting but because I needed a few things. JoAnn's had virtually nothing left to discount. Last year I got a ton of bags with matching tissue paper...today there were none. I got just some ribbon and bows..the ribbon for making cards and the bows for next year. Went to Walmart after that and really didn't look too much so don't know if they had big deals or not. So did you go bargain hunting today? Did you find some good things?

I am not a shopper so I didn't venture into any store today. Knew it would be crowded with all the after Christmas sales going on. I'm pretty well set with craft items but could use some yarn. It can wait until Walmart reloads again. I have plenty of plastic canvas also.

Glad you were able to get items for future use with your cards and other projects. You are one step ahead of this old lady.

I didn't venture outside today. However I did have to check out what was on sale at JC Penney online. Guess I am all shopped out. Many of my clients had me running their errands last week and I was burnt out from doing their shopping. Then I had to shop on Thursday which really took the wind out of my sales. No more shopping until I go back to work on Tuesday. Then it will be only for groceries. Of course if I happen upon a bargain while I am out and about I will have to scarf it up!

I left the house today long enough to go to the bank and stop at the gas station. Other than that I have been in the house. I woke up feeling like crap and I still do for the most part. I took a 3 hour nap with my daughter and just woke up. Let me tell you though, I could go right back to bed the way I am feeling. My son tried to get me to take him to Walmart to use up his Christmas money today, but there was no chance of me doing that.

Nope, we were driving back from Nevada. We did some shopping in Virginia city, but it was tourist stuff. We also bought the kids some gloves in Fallon, knit ones for school and snow gloves for when we go up into the mountains.

No, I got what I needed during the shopping season. Unless I got back in cash from everybody I bought for I'd just stay home. I don't care to get run over on Black Friday and then on the day after Christmas.

I went to Sears and there were really great deals on womans clothing. I bought a new jacket, 2 shirts, and a pair of pants. I only spent 75 dollars which was great since the regular price on the jacket was 80.00!!!

Hi, jillhill. I did not get a chance to go bargain hunting today. Maybe another day. I don't have the money to shop with yet. Pretty soon I will though. Now, is the best time to stock up for the next year. It is cheaper after the Christmas holidays. Hopefully, I will be able to bargain hunt later this week coming if the deals are still in effect.

I received some gifts today from apartment owners and to be honest, I already have so much lotion etc and hand cream that I will be putting these up carefully as gifts to use in the year or for next Christmas! I have gone into survival mode. I will also be re cycling gift bags as my friends no longer write on the bag so it can be reused.

Hiya jill, If there were any bargains I must have been the last one in. This year they are being quite stingy. Even so although I´m not creative like you I am creative in other ways food but only on a scale that does´nt go beyond this Kitchen. I find the bargains here lack imagination and they are usually last years things too. In Madrid and Barcelona you can find some really good things but we are in a very small place so you cannot expect any other.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to participate in the baragin sales due to the fact that i had to actually work and I mean work what I call the worst day beside Black Friday. I work in retail and there was some real nasty folks out on this day. But hey its all about the money I hope you all that did go out and find some deals had a good happy shopping day.

Yes, I did. But I have noticed that the prices on most items have not change yet. Perhaps in a week or two it will be adjusted and most stores will be going for a sale. Sort of a post Christmas sale considering that they will have to dispose of items that were not sold during the season.

I didn't really go out today and look for any bargains although I know that this is suppose to be one of the biggest days to get bargains but we did end up getting a few bargains at Walmart today but not really for ourselves but for the kids. The kids each had gift cards from Christmas and they were burning holes in their pockets so we went ahead and took them out to Walmart so they cold send them and thanks to the deals my daughter was able to get a baby alive doll that was originally $39 dollars for $19, a play laptop learning computer originally $20 for $10 and then my son was able to get a lego set that was originally $49 for $21 so they made out really well in my opinion...
