hey allainalex.. i think manny is doing his best to help the country.. he is sacrificing his body and his life for our country once he steps inside the ring and competes the best of the best from other countries.. holding the record for winning championships from different weight levels aint a joke.. manny prepared himself for all those fights and trained really hard.. he has given us another thing to be proud about and that is his titles and being the worlds best pound per pound champion is another honor for manny and for the philippines.. with regards to help in the society i think he is doing his fair share of charity work for the people of general santos city.. he is donating a big amount on people that really need the cash.. he is not a selfish person and one thing more i like about manny is that he is honest and god fearing.. he never forgets to thank god for his blessings and his opportunity being the best fighter in the world.. .. swollen minds and spoken lies.. you'll never hera their silent cries.. -hush

Because of what he did in the boxing world he help us a lot. But he is only human...and being a human you are not exempted in making mistakes even though you are a superstar or whatever.

I think Manny is helping his province and not the entire Philippines. He is concentrated helping his province. I heard that he does donate his money when there is a disaster due to typhoon. I don't watch the news so much so I don't have all the news of Manny's activities.

Being a record holder and putting our country in the boxing map is more than enough help Manny can give to his country. If he spend his money on things that would help alleviate poverty is entirely up to him. Thanks if he'll do it but nobody can really force him if he don't want to. We have to remember that Manny was able to gain fame and fortune because of his own hard hard. That means that he don't owe a dime to anyone. So i would say YES to your question. We should be proud and thank him for his contributions and should not expect anything more. Cheers!
