Rooting for the villain.

Do you ever find yourself rooting for the villain when watching anime or reading manga? I actually find myself doing that sometimes, usually when it's for some shounen series. I'd find myself really annoyed by one of the 'good guy(s)' and wish they would be killed off or something. An example would be Miaka from Fushigi Yugi. She is one really annoying and whiny character. I really do not like those weak and useless female protagonists. I seriously did not like her character and didn't understand why all these guys were falling for her. There were many times that I wished for someone to get rid of her so that I wouldn't have to constantly hear her whining.
